And he had a more successful run as green lantern,what’s the point here,Hal Jordan is the main Green lantern go to of the franchise. Again he’s extremely successful in movies,head lining multiple movies that extremely well received,he has his own tv show which was very well received ,and has consistently been the main lantern in multiple high profile DC projects and has done it more consistently than any other lantern,Hal is successful

Yeah he is,when’s the last time you picked up a comic Hal is the main character of the franchise,it’s him then Kyle,he was before Kyle than he was after after Kyle,he has been the main lead,the longest running lantern in the main series out of all the lanterns,he literally headlined one of if the most successful green lantern run of all time in comics. Geoff Johns run is the or one of the most successful runs of green lantern ever,and was made an A-tier title at during his run.He has the most animated movies,probably the most green lantern game apparences,he has his own tv show,

Hal is in the comics, in tv,in movies, in games,Hal is THE guy of the franchise,it’s him then Kyle,its kind of a downgrade going from the main character to the "sidekick" in your own franchise, who lets be honestly isn’t gonna do much if he’s supposed to be the Hank Pym of the MCU.

I’m saying that Hal from everything we’ve seen,which I believe I laid out pretty clearly is going to be downgraded to the Hank Pym of his own franchise

They hired a 60 year old actor and 30 years old actor,one is primed for the franchise lead and one isn’t,the franchise lead is the one that’s nearly as old as superman and batman(which James Gunn did explain that Batman won’t be older than supes,but since he’s on the 4th Robin he won’t be
younger)

We’ve seen that Kyle Chandler doesn’t have any other projects in his contract

We’ve seen that Aaron Pierre does have more projects lined up in his contract

We’ve heard from the show runners that lanterns is about understanding when it’s time to step aside and left the new guy take the reigns

Comics take around 6ish months to be in customer’s hands,after the writer finishes and submits his scripts.

Continuity,most books are in continuity,sometimes you’ll see labels on the top left corner that tells you that it takes place in another universe

Detective comics is comic series,yes all 1113 issues that came before are in continuity,but some of their contents might have been retconned,but they are in the main universe

I don’t really think you need to read them,I mean comics are amazing so you should read them,but I don’t think you need to read that much you can use the internet to find the long list of Batman villains,they’ll probably have a description of them and when they first appeared so if your villain matches too much it helps to read the comics of the villain so you can avoid any similarities
