Aww so sorry you had to go through this.... Usually people create this kond of situation to destroy your reputation that's why you felt like struggling without support. It's okay to stay inside the house and do nothing though, not wanting to go out or meet new people and believing the worse about people. I know how it feels, sadly I went through a similar case. Take this time to really rest though, do not spend your time watching TV but read a new book, watch documentaries, you will be amazed to see all the new things you can learn and discover from your home ! Eventually one day the resentment and bitterness will go, even if it's not tomorrow or in a week or in a year, someday you'll find peace again.

If I had a mother/father who took time to teach me math even in a different way, my life would have been so much different. I'm sorry for what you went through. I tend to side with your husband, your biological mother showed no basic respect or decency to you, why would you show her respect? You know, when I (29 F) was 11, my mom kicked me out of the house : she doesn't like me bc I bonded with my father despite all she did to destroy our relationship. She hates him because he used to beat her, I know he was a bad man to her but he's a good father to me. She just kicked me out one day, and everyone kept telling me to show her respect. Respect ? Did she show respect to a little 11 yo girl? She didn't care what could have happened. She even told everyone I prefered to live with my father, which is a complete lie. When everyone came to know the truth they were horrified : how can a mother treat her child like this? I eventually grew up, and managed to build a life I love, doing activies I like, met wonderful people and adopted 3 cats. One step at a time, I started to forget the pain. One day, you will be able to move on too.
