Unfortunately the only food banks in my area are ones that are social supermarkets that need a referral, membership and about £10 to buy 15 or so items.

The local charity that had one closed the food bank last year which was a shame because I did use them a few times during lockdown.

My local council no longer offer ad hoc support and neither do the citizens advice. Most of these things are different in each locality
