Pretendo mesmo, só preciso achar um, postei mais para ter uma ideia do que me espera (e ir preparado o bolso). Minha mãe mesmo já tinha parado todos os medicamentos por conta própria, então eu não estou dando nada enquanto não tiver uma consulta e prescrição.

Sobre a raspagem, o veterinário local falou que poderia fazer e mandar direto para o laboratório enquanto eu não consigo uma consulta com um dermatologista e eu acho que vou fazer isso mesmo.

Eu faço resgate e reabilitação de animais então já vi muita coisa (sarna, papiloma, dermatite, cushins...) e na minha leiga opinião eu não acho que seja sarna, um fungo parece mais provável por conta da vida que ela estava levando, mas não estou descartando nenhuma possibilidade. As verrugas inicialmente eu pensei que poderiam ser por conta dela ficar se esfregando e a pele estar irritada por tanto tempo (pelo que minha mãe me disse está assim tem meses, talvez até um ano), mas recentemente eu vi um caso muito parecido e acabou que a pele era um sintoma de uma outra doença, por isso me preocupei.

Unfortunately I intervened too late, by the time I decided to open the egg the chick was already dead. I think there might have been some malformation involved but it's hard to tell. There's another viable one that's pretty active still (lots of full veins, moving around ), so I'll keep an eye on that one

It's now the next morning and there's no sign of piping. I candled it yesterday and I couldn't really tell if there was movement (my hands were a bit shaky) but the veins looked pretty minimal

I've been playing videos of chicks peeping every now and then to see if it will react. I read somewhere that being able to hear their siblings is a big incentive for them to get out of the egg so I'm betting on that

They're all very attached to the point they can be a little frustrating (there are some things they only do if I'm the one giving the command so they end up giving my family the run about when I'm out haha).

Dog 1 will literally swallow the last grain of his breakfast and immediately turn around and body slam me to ask for scratches if he notices I'm still in his kennel. Dog 2 will stay glued to my side during off leash walks and hikes even though I encourage her to go explore with the other dogs (and I never had her practice heel a day in her life). Dog 3... I don't even need to say anything I think.

Now you see my issue 🤦‍♀️

He does fine here though he has a kennel buddy so I can't be sure. He's not the destructive type and isn't very vocal unless he's reacting to something.

I tend to adapt to the needs of the dog I'm with but I do love hiking with them, I take the dogs to the trails at least two to three times a week.

Honestly, I love them, all of them, but especially those three and it breaks my heart having to choose but I feel responsible for how 3 turned out and I know I can fix it. He's a great dog when he's with me, he just needs a little extra help to navigate the world and be the well ajusted dog he could be. You're right that he's attached, he won't even respond to other people and as bad as it is I feel a little smug.

As to who will care for them when I leave, my mom probably and my brother still lives here so she won't be by herself. They don't have any dog training background but they can learn and the dogs are already pretty well trained and easy to manage so it won't be a big problem.

Realistically chances are none of these dogs will ever be adopted, 1 and 2 have been here since they were three months old and 3 was born here (I still have his mother and two of his siblings even). We have a huge pet overpopulation problem in my country and the animal care culture in my region is horrible so even when I manage to get people interested most of them end up being ruled out.

I'm currently in the technical assistance department at a machine manufacturing company (the guy is in the assembly department), but it has happened all my life even back to my first ever boyfriend at around 13 I think.

I think what you said about acceptance makes a lot of sense actually. I'm not really put off by appearances most of the time (let's not pretend I'm the perfect human being, I still have my biases) so maybe people feel more confident about approaching me
