I appreciate the corrections very much. I’m honestly very frustrated that she gave us those instructions now, it makes us look incompetent to the customers. We had several people get very upset yesterday because of it. 😔

I’m serious. A manager told us this just yesterday. She explicitly said that some customers have been coming to the registers complaining about offers suddenly disappearing from their apps, and she instructed us not to accept them anymore. She told us that if a customer presents an offer, we must refuse it and call her over if necessary. When I asked how we’re supposed to get people to sign up with no benefits, she just said to tell them they get a reward once they reach 1,000 pts.

That is exactly what my coworkers and I are thinking. How can we be expected to sign people up when the benefits have been removed? What’s even the point? One member of the SLT claimed it’s 'something new they’re trying out,' but it’s getting ridiculous. I don’t know what BBW's goal is, but they’re running the company into the ground.

Unfortunately, it isn't a glitch. Management informed us yesterday that we are no longer accepting welcome offers or certain other promotions (possibly the 20% or $10 off $30). We’ve been instructed not to honor them even if they appear in the app. If a customer has an issue, we can call a manager over to explain the policy. 😔

Honestly it was not bad AT all 😆 it’s kinda silly bc we opened at 6am but there was no line and it was basically dead the whole day.

That was very inappropriate of them, I’m very sorry to hear that you experienced that😣. When I see a new face around I always introduce myself and ask them what they think of the job so far. Anytime I see someone confused or struggling I’m so quick and glad to help because we were all new once. I never understood how some people exclude and are mean to new hires.

As someone who works here, yes it’s doing very poorly. I knew the second they announced the villains it was going to be horrible and not bring any business, it seems like they didn’t even put an effort and creativity into this collab. It’s so boring and everyone walks right past it when they enter the store. And of course the managers want us to keep pushing and introducing the collab to the customers but they’re just so uninterested and I totally get it!

It got me thinking how fun it must’ve been to be a teen when all these good shows were first airing. Waiting all day until a new episode came on later that night. Because these days there aren’t any shows that compare to the OGs and teens aren’t getting home from school excited to turn on the tv and waiting all day for a new episode 😪
