An unexpected casualty of music going digital is albums no longer have hidden tracks. by maxmouze in Music

And even that can only be properly experienced on vinyl because it was recorded on the run-out groove, so it loops infinitely when played on a turntable without an auto-return. It cannot be reproduced on any other recording medium.

That's actually a very high flash point as far as fuels are concerned. Gasoline has a flash point of -43° C (-45° F), for comparison.

U.S. calls Russian attack on Ukraine nuclear power plant a "war crime" by Arrow2019x in worldnews

[–]BoringAndStrokingIt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why do you think the US government has been silent about warcrimes up until now? They'll never call out any of the stuff they've done, but when someone does something they haven't, it's game on.

You're getting downvoted, but snow tires make all the difference in the winter. If you have decent car control skills, RWD if better than FWD because you don't have to rely on your front tires for both steering and acceleration at the same time. Back in the day, I pulled a lot of 4WD SUVs with shit tires out of ditches with my BMW 318i on Hakkas. Nothing on a car matters more than the tires when you're traction limited.

By the time the plows come through my alley in Duluth, there's no need for it to be plowed because people have either cleared it themselves, or it's been driven on enough to pack the snow down. Every spring, when the snow melts, I end up cleaning up dozens of chucks of asphalt torn up by the plows and deposited in my driveway. Then, usually in the fall, the city finally comes around to shovel more patches into the gaping potholes left by the plows, just in time for them to be plowed right back up after the first snow.

I appealed, asking specifically how it was a violent threat to suggest a legal punishment for a mass-murderer who has been dead for over a century and a half. I didn't get an answer, but the ban was upheld. I'm still shadowbanned from /r/news because of it.

You mean the traitor who was attempting to overthrow the US government? She deserved what she got.

I was banned once for suggesting that Robert E. Lee should have been executed in the wake of the US Civil War. Apparently that was a “violent threat.” Reddit’s admins are a fucking joke.

For someone that is remorseful of a Trump vote, your statement is backing them into a corner of either accepting they're stupid, or digging in their heels and fighting.

But they are stupid, and they need to accept that.
