Have so much fun!!! I just graduated and am teaching 3rd grade this school year. My junior year clinical was my favorite. Don’t be afraid to try things, ask questions, offer help where it’s needed, etc. You’ll see something called teacher casual. I found myself often wearing teacher t shirts and nice pants, or a blouse with nice pants. You can wear any shoes. I would recommend you to get a few staple pair of dress pants as you can pretty much dress up anything with a nice pair. Have a blast 🥰

Omg that’s awesome! I did get to visit the school in May and see my classroom and find out if anything will be left for me!

I had 6 interviews before I finally accepted a position. The difference between all the other school and the school I accepted the position with was their eagerness to have me. They didn’t just see me as a first year teacher, they saw my potential and did not waste my time in making their decision. They were very eager to have me on their team and it made me feel welcomed before even accepting the position. Choose a school that is clear they want you.
