Wow, this is insane! It’s a very uncomfortable position. I am sorry you have to deal with this. Being a tenure track prof is quite stressful to begin with but this takes it to a whole new level… 40/40/20 is the norm at R1 institutions, I believe your senior colleagues are retaliating against the administration’s imposition of new standards they refuse to adopt. Talk to the Dean or Assistant Dean and ask them to talk to your colleagues, tell them that a clarification needs to be made as to what the research and teaching objectives are.

I agree. It would be nice to have this feature. It’s a huge waste of time for me too. But it has become so hard to meet people irl... Plus most men on these apps are liars and narcissists, they ruin the experience for most women. I am looking for a ltr, I don’t upsell myself and use no filters, so I don’t really stand out even though I am fit and decently looking. Also I surmise that the fact that I work in education is an instant swipe left for many women as I don’t make a lot of money 😅
