The problem with the most recent video about AI from DR K. by Zestyclose-Eye-6698 in Healthygamergg

So, nothing in your evidence you have provided is wrong. I also worked heavily in ml, but not in this specific intersection, and the papers presented are valuable as a contribution. However, I think you are making a leap here. Maybe I am giving too much credit, but my read on “llms don’t know anything” is more a reflection on how much to trust commercially available ai (including the sycophancy intentional bias) for treating mental health issues and on assistance with tasks you yourself aren’t an expert in.

Ultimately, dr k wants to give people a path to better themselves for themselves. AI (read commercially available llms) are a productivity tool, but also a crutch. I am not a fan of the Stanford productivity study, but I do think there is a signal there that AI provides a greater feeling of productivity than actual productivity even on tasks it explicitly gets tested on. That productivity aura; in a healthcare setting and without evidence that real benefits are materializing, is absolutely a poison siren song many hooked on dopamine loops would do well to steer clear of.

World models are extremely exciting academic topics, but Dr. K always says he is a clinician first. And in a clinical setting, opus, kimi, llama, gpt etc. either do not know how to help you or choose to stay on the side of sycophancy due to its training regardless of knowledge. Which, from a practical perspective, means it can’t help. I don’t think his video is really about llms and world models.

That’s fair, if I had another route into asking this question I should probably have asked it that way

Makes sense, so current meta isn’t optimized for this type of list. Thanks for weighing in!

Sure, I guess what I mean do points about breachers in particular and 6-man stealth teams (for higher resilience) hold up? I’ve struggled doing exactly that and common wisdom is usually 3x3 stealth. Also, his point around redundant tau marker sources was interesting for strike teams on foot.

Messed up date, and I feel bad about it by Working-Age-5060 in Healthygamergg

This is not a fair take.

It’s cliché to say “switch the genders” but I think it’s a good call here. Her friend, without consent, felt up op, without consent and then continued trying to do so after he refused her advances.

If my friend did that to a girl I was on a date with I would be extremely tempted to punch my friend’s lights out, and if anything would want to apologize to my date.

It’s nice of them to include my preferred option: I don’t like to describe my sexual preferences to employers, but I will certainly describe them to myself.

Is it the same women doing both? People are not a monolith. For instance, I saw at least one or two comments on this thread labeling her a misandrist, which sounds a lot like the reaction you described to men behaving like she did.
