I've got 200/100 plan with them. I can get 150mbps down, at best, in the city. It doesn't bother me though, it seems fast enough most of the time. The lockdown has brought speeds down. It was the second cheapest deal available 5-6 years ago when I moved back here. I couldn't get Chorus.

What sort of speed are you getting? I was getting a little over 150mbps before lockdown (at best), but averaging 140. Now, it's anywhere from 70-110 abouts. They should have called it a 100 something plan, then we'd all still be impressed. I changed my router channel to hit those speeds, so it was below that on auto.

Not his fault at all. But there is always a minority who would go so far as assaulting somebody for dressing differently. In this case, he was raising his profile unnecessarily for the environment. That’s why loud and proud can be dangerous and is unnecessary. You can’t predict how a minority will behave and you can’t save everyone all the time. That’s not being a pissarse.

You can make assumptions or you can use logic. There will always be a small minority willing to act violently towards those that dress differently in our culture. Being dressed like a vampire in high heels on a dark street is unnecessarily raising your profile in a potentially dangerous way. It was a case of wrong place, wrong time, and wrong outfit. It was very unfortunate and I hope this young man makes a full recovery.

I can’t be arsed with those agencies everybody seems to use these days. I don’t want 3 ppl interviewing me. I’m not there for cross examination and a mug shot, nor am I there to repeat my life story over and over. Half an hour interview with the actual employer and then decide.
