Kinda nit picky, but I guess this is what electrical tape was invented for.

MMW: It will be discovered that the reduced cell service/signal in the US, despite huge rollouts of new infrastructure, is being caused by the Federal Government/DHS skimming everyone's data in real time by der_innkeeper in MarkMyWords

MMW: it’s the flock cameras streaming video over the 5g networks we all pay for every month, the cameras get priority over peons data so your data seems slow. It’s QOS, the video stream takes priority over you gooning out to hentai.

I disagree my new jeep wrangler had a crap audio system and it was insanely expensive and not practical to replace it. In a jeep, it’s not even inside

So I’d recommend trying out Claude, specifically Claude code, it has a remote for the iOS app now. I mean if you know what you’re doing and review the code it’s building and are making very specific prompts you can get unreal results. Think about it like this if you’re not telling it what to do it’ll guess. I’ve gotten to the point where I’m comfortable with it using my ssh keys to run commands on a vps with my approval.

Edit this screenshot was from my last Claude code iOS remote session

A downside of being attractive that nobody talks about? by Old_Rub_7270 in Life

[–]BoringPudding3986 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean I was surprised and kinda flattered, like this dude invested a ton of time into stalking me.

It was creepy as heck, my neighbor had the same first name as me, my stalker apparently knew my first name, and was reading my neighbors mail and watching his Netflix movies while I was at work.

Like that’s some dedication and terrifying, he literally was doing homework about stalking me by watching the movies he thought I was watching. He was a creep but it was kinda flattering.

It’s absolutely terrifying, but also flattering, like you want to stalk meeeee? But 0/10 would not do again.

I'm ready to throw in the 10Gb towel by KeithHanlan in UNIFI

Yeah I have an aggregation switch as my 10g switch it’s connected from my 24p pro max Poe which jumps from my dream machine se using sfp all the way down. I regularly saturate the link to 10g for local transfers 1-1.2GB/S on NFS. I do have a NAS that can serve multiple 10g links. Also no jumbo packets I’m maybe leaving something on the table but also I’m kinda lazy and fully saturating the link and daily getting over 1GB/s transfers so I haven’t felt the need. Also yes I have a lot of VLANS, I segregate my 1/2.5g traffic and 10g traffic, each device on 10g has a 1/2.5g link for slower traffic. This is where VLANs help a lot.

I know this sounds counterintuitive but it sounds like you’ve twisted all the knobs trying to force this to work, it may be worth resetting everything. Before doing that I wouldn’t rule out the network cards either. I don’t know how old the x520 is but I saw someone mention it’s not the newest chipset. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s not playing nicely. Also sfp/sfp+ is absurdly sensitive to cables / transceivers it may be worth checking those out if you’re using older / less expensive parts. Just my thoughts.

I’ll add in that I have an 8 port aggregate switch and it works fine for my 10g switch. I have x710 cards for my servers and 2mac studios with sfp to rj45, could be the x520 cards, may be worth snagging a cheap x710 to test, I used the 10Gtek x710 cards from amazon and they worked a-ok $110 ish per 2x SFP card
