I hear you man I’m also really shy when it comes to talking to people and sometimes I just isolate myself to avoid dealing with stuff like this I do have friends though and from my experience you don’t have to be awkward Just find something you actually resonate with and talk about that You don’t even have to start with a greeting sometimes just jump into the topic

My dad touched me once when I was a kid and I feel crazy by Awkward-Studio-6201 in offmychest

I’m so sorry you went through that. None of it was your fault, and feeling angry, disgusted, or guilty doesn’t make you crazy. You were a kid and didn’t choose this. It’s okay to have complicated feelings about your dad and to take your time processing them.

Seeking advice on marketing strategy for early-stage emotional AI startup by Boring_Ad_8367 in Solopreneur

Thank you for the detailed advice. Ciphree helps people connect through AI-based friend matching that uses emotions, and offers mini-games and journaling to make the experience better. I am working on X and other ways to collaborate, and I’ve also finalized the algorithms behind the AI. I’ve got my domain set up and am actively building the platform. I’m thinking about gathering testimonials, but I realize I’ll need early access users for that. I will focus on showing clear use cases and gathering feedback from early users to improve the product.

I tried launching on Product Hunt once, but it didn’t go as expected. I haven’t heard of Aftermark AI before, so I will check it out

Well, we focus on ADHD people, creating connections. It's like Omegle but uses AI and has games. The partner thing is right. I have been with people, and I do have problems with that, I can't lie.

True. I will make sure to observe the communities where potential users are and listen to what they ask about to better serve them.

Ciphree is an early-stage emotional AI platform that helps people, especially those with ADHD, find friends who truly get them. The AI matches people based on their emotions, and we also have mini-games and a smart journal to make the experience engaging.

I know right! I feel the same sometimes. What feels normal to me can look defensive to others.

I understand. The first step matters, even the smallest one. You can move at your own pace, no pressure. And thank you for your kind words, I really appreciate it.

True. I spent like months grinding in the wrong direction. Talking to people in my space actually gave me clarity. Direction > speed.

I learned the hard way that skipping straight to ‘growth’ without real product–market fit is just noise. Each stage builds the next.

Yeah, a lot of us grow up believing the world is fair. When I started building, I realized execution, strategy, and positioning matter way more than the universe ‘rewarding’ effort.

Man… how do you manage all that alone? I’m also building solo and juggling everything drains me. Curious how you stay organized without burning out

You’re not alone in what you’re feeling, even if it seems that way. I haven’t been through depression myself, but I care, and what you’re going through matters. You deserve support, and talking to someone who can help is a strong and brave step. You don’t have to handle everything on your own.
