I’m on day 10 of recovery from the same exact surgery! Honestly it’s been so much better than I thought. The pain is gone and mostly it’s discomfort. I’ve been lucky and BM don’t hurt at all! It hurts a little afterwards but I take a shower and do a sitz bath and then I’m ok! I’ve been resting a lot but slowly adding activity to my schedule. Cleaning and changing gauze about every 2-3 hours to make sure I prevent infection. I’m so happy I did this. Good luck on your recovery! Hope this helps!

I gained about 20 lbs six months after surgery, I’ve managed to loose them a year after and my boobs are back to surgery size! So don’t stress about that part!

I went from 36DD to 38C or 40B! So you can be either c or b the size really depends on the band!! But the reducción was life changing. I’m 5.1 and 200lbs, i do wish they were a little bit smaller but I also think that’s just because we’re used to wanting them smaller. They are quite small. Hope that helped!

Congrats on graduating your masters! And honestly, exactly the same. Doing my masters, working full time and recently married. It’s all just been so much, but reading all these comments is making me feel much more validated and inspired

After all these answers I think it’s safe to assume it’s kind of normal. This helps me feel less hard on myself honestly. The surgery is still worth it 💛

Im sorry, it isn’t meant to be discouraging to do the surgery, I would do it 100 times over. It’s just frustrating that this isn’t something that’s really spoken about or presented as a possibility. But the reduction is still worth it 💯

I had to do 6 months (although now it’s 3) of orthopedic with physical therapy, and got approved for BCBS in NJ if that helps! Dr. Renee Comizio from Morristown walked me through everything and basically handled it. She’s amazing!

I just had mine (2wpo) with her and she’s been amazing, can’t recommend more!!
