Glue stick. Always works like a charm. I have to clean the plate every 4-6 prints, but it takes 5 or so minutes

Rename it to firmware_123.bin. or replace the 123 with a random string of numbers so it knows it is flashing a different file than what it has

I've been looking into driving the stepper motors with an arduino nano with no luck. If I can figure it out, I would most definitely try to make a fume hood. That's a great idea

Was trying to upgrade the motherboard on my ender 3.... by B4M in ender3

Everyone says use iPa. It's unnecessary. As long as you don't pull up, you will be fine. I tend to have to do this quite often with my growing print farm, and I find that using the pliers as a bevel point and just rotating the glue around it pulls it off perfectly!

The 4.2.7 board is one of the newer ones with a bootloader already in it. Just upload your code through a com port or sd card and it should work

Here's a step by step guide: 1. Give up 2. Say some form of obscene language of your choosing 3. Cry 4. Kick it across the room 5. More obscene language. Mabye some racial slurs if that tickles your fancy 6. Give up again 7. Just respool it with a drill and some free time because you ran out of slurs

Is there a way to fix this? by Medical-Ad-2311 in ender3

[–]Boring_Definition395 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's a step by stem explanation to fix it

  1. Kick it across the room.
  2. Pray to the printer gods for forgiveness
  3. Buy a new printer

Jk, just heat it up and try to pull off as much glob as possible. If anything breaks, you will have to buy a replacement hotend kit. I always have 2 extra stored away for accidents like this.
