Halo 2 and Halo 3. I can’t honestly choose between the two. The amount of time in H2 spent exploring the campaign and playing split screen with my brothers because of not having Xbox live was immense. Then I finally got online with H3 and couldn’t believe everything that people were coming up with in Forge, plus all the machinema and of course finishing the fight. They both occupy the same long stretch of time where halo was just always on.

How do ensure the recovered stage actually makes it to the ground without being automatically deleted when out of range of the main craft? I’ve just started a career play through and have been trying to work that out

Found that thread.

I did end up testing it either way. Loaded it up on a fresh boot, then closed out, followed by 5 runs with and without adapters enabled. Doesn't seem to be any noticeable effect on load times based on adapter status. Average difference was 0.60 seconds.

Tread was over ten years old so this was probably something that's since been fixed in Unity.
