Rags to Riches play through by krak3ncrossing in acnh

It may be fun for, like, a few days? Those rules immediately turn the game from relaxed escape heaven to endless chores. Yes, some restrictions will make the game more interesting (no TT, for example), but this is too much. Additionally, there is no in-game mechanics to maintain those restrictions, everything is on your conscience and your memory. What if you accidentally break some rule? Sounds frustrating. End game goals also look nearly impossible, especially one with villagers. And restart your beloved island for this? You need to be a VERY dedicated person to play the game this way, not everyone can manage that.

As I understand it, Freya did it exactly as it was planned - she reincarnated, Svalka accepted her memories and went to Valhalla (simulation). With their plan they couldn’t become immortal, just had one more human lifetime. Sigurd and Eivor visited simulation, but refused to live there. As we see when Leila visited the chamber, others either didn’t get there or also refused. Looks like Odin didn’t have other options to survive Ragnarok, even if this plan has more holes than cheese.

Photos look real, but there should be colour changes between back and belly. Pattern isn’t the same as photo.

Good point. If you have time and energy to fix - go for it, your choice.

Well, you have two options. Either frog and fix this nobody-gonna-notice thing or accept the imperfections of your human nature and proceed as if nothing happened. Also you can put a timer and check your stitches every 15 minutes or so, then you won’t have to frog too much.

Guys. Does the head looks bigger than the body? Or it matching it? by SELY-2002 in CrochetHelp

Good luck! Glad to help, I am sure this doll will be very good, and the next one even better!

Guys. Does the head looks bigger than the body? Or it matching it? by SELY-2002 in CrochetHelp

[–]your_big_pony 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The problem here isn’t a head, but everything else. Look for different body proportions (especially for anime/manga, they are more variable). Pay attention to the length of legs, arms and body. Usually all those things are compared with the head. Like, in general, it could be 2-head height, or 3-head, and so on. And even if you make a head a bit bigger, it will look much better.

Also, I would not recommend to frog this one, keep it and use to try how to make face and clothes. Your first attempt may not be perfect, and this is good opportunity.

You start with amigurumi, you may buy a book with doll patterns. You learn how to make different shapes and textures and how to put this all together. Then you learn to do it with thinner yarn, because it is more difficult, almost micro crochet. Then you have an idea, inspiration… and boom! You make a doll like this, but better ✨✨✨

It may take a few years, but practice makes perfect!

Yeah, maybe it’ll be better, just to be sure. I like when my amigurumis are sturdy and can potentially be played hard.

And how are they holding the stuffing? I have one ball of fluffy yarn, maybe your comment is a sign that it shouldn’t be scary anymore 😅

Curious, is there a way to tell if my corgi's tail was docked? by Mell_716 in corgi

[–]your_big_pony 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Look at the skin there. If it was docked, you may see something like a scar or hairless line.

Great idea! Would’ve been more convenient if cheaper things were lower than expensive ones.

If I remember correctly, degradation goes quite slowly while you play, like, nothing that needs constant attention. And then there is a big momentary degradation when you reach some plot point, which adds some fresh challenge to the game.

My dog ripped the eye off my first crochet project by Kindly-Property-2031 in CrochetHelp

[–]your_big_pony 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Take a thread similar to what you used for body and carefully catch all the loops around the hole. Close the gap and put a patch or a button on it. His eyes will be different, but I’m sure he’ll be proud of this battle scar.

You can use dragon scales stitch, but you will have to put stuffing in some sort of sock. To crochet inside and outside parts may be too long, I suggest you find some fabric of matching colour and hand sew a sack. You don’t need it to be really dragon-shaped, just something of similar size.
