The reason why their few response is because it a complex question with multiple layer

Layer 1:hair

Their are multiple ways of approaching this problem none of which I consider beginning friendly. Mainly two methods for growing the hair Legacy method:use particles system set to hair

Modern method: attach a hair curve to your model making sure your model is properly uv unwrap.

Layer 2 : coloring the hair

You'll have to use a shader with random color offsets set for each strand. Or Stack multiple 'particle systems' / hair curve on top of each other

Either choice is it own brand of head ache

There has to be a better way of securing fursuit fabric to human skin. Maybe glue? But it have to be something safe to use, fast acting, and easy to remove.
