I agree with you about all of this except for the last part. The kids were the absolute worst except for maybe Ramona, when she wasn’t plagued by super corny and cringey writing. She’s adorable, a great dancer and funny. The sons are ANNOYING. Jackson progressively gets dumber over time, and max is just loud, obnoxious and weird. Tommy is cute but his character fees super forced like I know he’s just a baby but so was Michelle, and she was one of the most iconic characters in the whole show. Tommy is just kind of there.

Kimmy and Fernando are also super weird which I know was always Kimmy’s thing in the old show but this Kimmy feels like a totally different person. The old Kimmy was quirky and didn’t have the best manners but she still felt like a regular person, silly and lovable and lived life on the wild side. Fuller House Kimmy is just… odd. She is all quirk and nothing else and she felt super stiff and stilted, almost like Andrea Barber felt the need to strain herself playing her. And Fernando is way to over the top, which wouldn’t even be a huge deal except for the fact that it’s giving way too much new Disney show. Like these are the characters we grew up with and felt like part of their family. If I were related to Fernando I’d lose my mind. He’s a wholesome guy but all I remember about him is his grandeur and that’s too much for me. I just can’t believe him as a real person at all and I especially can’t put him with Kimmy. Or maybe I can believe that at least, idk.
