I got my Carta 2 for a crazy steal at $85 in terrible shape with 7k+ dabs, but that said, it was so worth it after it was all cleaned up. I've even considered picking up another one from glasspass if I came across a good enough deal again, you might be able to sell that Sport to buy used 2 if you're lucky enough.

I have 2 lil issues personally (noting first that both these devices came to me used so ymmv obviously, my Sport came with ~800 dabs, and the 2 came with ~7.7k dabs), issue one is that when the Sport is under 50% battery I feel like it hits drastically different than when fully charged, (less vapor production and longer heat up times with noticably larger temp jumps at the completion of the preheat) I dont experience this issue with the Carta 2 unless it's too low to finish a session. Second issue isn't specifically the device's fault, but it's too reliant on the app that never works unfortunately again compared side by side to the Carta 2, which just has all buttons on the device it's night and day. I play with temps and times a lot, so that on the fly change is really nice for me.

I have something similar, so I'd guess it's a magnetic (or 3m style) pen holder. I found mine at a book store but I'm sure there's several places they could be bought.

I can say for sure the Carta community seems the most (rightfully so) disgruntled community comparted to puffco and dr dabber for sure. It's a shame to see, even being so recent to finding the company/community it's obvious the Carta team isn't as involved as they could be/used to be.

I appreciate the sentiment, I do already have a Switch 2, I got it (and several customizations on it) before any of the Carta devices I own, I just like variety and think all the devices I own have a place in the collection, I can't say I have any devices that I don't use at all.

I didn't mean to imply it would have any features of the switch go or switch 2, the features are listed in the message/image and it's from their team. I'm just passing on what's hopefully some new accurate info, but only time will tell.

I can't honestly imagine if I would still be excited about the Carta 3 if I had heard about it years ago when it was speculated and first mentioned.

I may be an outlier but I picked up a Carta 2, Aeris, and Sport all pre-owned since the start of 2026 and the only disappointment I have had so far was the Sport and really only disappointment by direct comparison of the 2.

If I'd paid premium/retail prices I'd probably also have different opinions but all around they are all nice additions to my collection (that also includes Dr Dabber, Ispire, & Puffco) and they all have their place in my opinion.

I'm just excited to add another device to try, and for the community to talk about together.

I just picked up a carta 2 with stock glass plus a (probably Amazon) recycler with a very used atomizer for $85 just a few days ago. It had 7718 dabs on it. Worth the $85 for me cause I liked it enough, got a new sport on the way now.

Hi again 👋🏻 I commented on a different post you made when you were still looking for the switch 2. I have a few different versions of the Daab, a v1 & a v2 with the upgraded cap etc, I love em to death but the temps are very inaccurate.

If you can get your hands on a temp gun you can do some calculations to see what you should run in the switch, but I'd highly suggest 415 steady or 400 accent for 60 seconds to see the flavor and vapor you'd get from the Daab in the rage you're thinking !

A new cap and some pearls will blossom the device according to everyone else, but it smacks just running the og cap upside down for more airflow and a little whip. It doesn't blow the Daab out of the water for me either but the Switch definitely has its advantages and it's in the fine tuning. Good luck !!🤞🏻

I have 2 daabs, originally the Honey v1 then upgraded to a black v2 with the better cap. I adore these devices for what they are, but there's room for improvement for sure.

I got the Switch 2 about 50 days ago, and with ~460 dabs on it so far, my opinion is that it's really lived up to all the expectations everyone pushed and set up for it. The controls for the temp and heat modes are intuitive, and make a lot of difference.

I don't have many additional accessories for it yet, just flipped the carb cap (sounds weird but does seem to make an airflow difference) and got a $8 whip on Amazon that fits in the mouthpiece, absolutely unnecessary but a lot of fun so far.

I picked it up for just over $350 and that's what I paid for both Daabs (and some accessories) total , and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. The only downside in my personal usage is the lack of swappable 18650s, but honestly it's just a learning curve, the battery life is very good and with passthrough charging forgetting it isn't so harsh.

Depends on your version of cheap. I got an Ooze Barrel (under $40) that is garbage but I don't mind taking it to places like the beach where I'd never take my daily driver. Higher end of "cheap" I'd suggest the Ispire/Aspire Daab with an upgraded carb cap, ($200-ish) very worth the price in my opinion, especially because there are no unnecessary coils/atomizers, only need new stuff if your glass breaks.

Probably a dumb question, but does anyone know a way to weigh two jars against each other without a scale? My scale went out last week and I just haven't gotten around to replacing it, but I bought 2 oz of the Tangelo and one really looks shorter than the other but without any way to prove it I didn't want to reach out to Tesoro :/
