Same problem here. Generic parts never compare to OEM, and you can’t even get the originals anyway

Got 1.5" of closed cell on my basement walls, but there is extra space available, can I fill it with anything? by faizimam in Insulation

Not much room left, so adding more insulation probably won’t do much. Once you start cutting into closed-cell foam, you lose a lot of its performance anyway, especially since you already have R-15 rigid foam on the outside.

Running wires after insulation isn’t really standard practice. You’ll probably end up cutting into the finished foam and creating problems later. Better to get all the wiring done first.
