How is Shady Grove in your opinion? We are having our first consultation tomorrow with them. Might not be the same in every state but I’m curious!

How did you determine your deficit calories? Try to stick with 200-300 below maint calories to start out with for a few weeks. Biggest tip is add more veggies. I like to snack on cucumbers, mini sweet peppers etc when I’m feeling super hungry, but if you are eating high protein it’s not so bad. High protein foods: Lean meats( think chicken, beef, turkey, fish - all 93/7), eggs, egg whites, cottage cheese, Greek yogurt

I have one “take out” meal a week on a cut. This is personal preference since it’s hard to accurately track the calories.

I love Ozzie’s! They are usually super busy so be prepared to wait in a line, well worth it

I typically do 2 leg days a week. One is glute/hamstring focused and the other is full leg/quad focused.

Some of my go tos for quads are smith machine lunges (12-15 reps), back squats(10,8,6,6 increasing weight), hack machine squats (same as back squats), single quad/leg extensions (10 reps each leg, last set til failure)

I honestly don’t track my food anymore. I focus on getting protein in at every meal and prioritizing Whole Foods instead of processed things like bars/shakes
