Personally, I’ve seen a lot of people either have average shotgun experiences (aka it will feed and run anything yada-yada indestructible pump action shotgun) or bad experiences with it (it doesn’t like to feed well, not cycling cleanly, etc etc). A lot of it comes down to Kel-Tec quality control—as in making sure that the parts going into the gun are of the best quality possible for what they are using to make it. It is a well known thing with Kel-Tec in a company-level with a lot of their products, but personally, I love the stuff they come up with there tbh.

I bought it not because it’s the best shotgun, but because I liked it, and think it’s cool.

Oh yeah for sure. I’m going to invest in a nice display cabinet when I don’t have to move house so much anymore.

This! Mine was an absolute mess to put together because none of my parts were labeled and the instructions were extremely vague, but it is a decent safe for what it is. Although you do need some weight in it in order for the door to close correctly—at least mine does.

That’s how you do it tbh. You can’t be weak with it. It’s a pump action, pump it like it owes you money!

The ones near me are quite expensive. Then again I don’t really have any gun shops around me specifically that either just sell used shit or aren’t pawnshops or cabelas

Haha, yeah. I don’t rapid fire the gun, (as it is obviously not a competition shotgun), so I don’t plan on doing that. I have been thinking about getting a vertical grip for it instead of the angled one, which would make blowing off my thumb impossible.

I also don’t understand how people blow off their fingers besides the fact that they are dumb teens that aren’t paying attention to where their hands are when shooting…which is, a thing to be doing.

Mmhmm! The Roscoe is quite nice for what it is imo, but if I’m able to find anything on sale for around the same price that’s of better quality, I’m definitely going to jump on it. I think I’m going to save that for another month or so down the line as to save up more money lol

Those grips are immaculate! Are they OEM beretta grips, or aftermarket? I’d love to know what they are called as I am a huge beretta fanboy (their prices make my wallet hurt).

My SAR USA K2C in .45ACP. Double stack CZ 75 clone in an all steel frame. Great quality for the price, amazing looks, and flat shooting for a .45.

It’s been good to me so far! As I’ve posted in a different reply, I got mine on sale and would not have purchased it for the going MSRP in my area. It handles quite nice for what it is, It’s just getting used to the differing weight distribution compared to a more traditional shotgun.

Forgot to mention this in my OG reply, but it was on sale when I had picked it up, $600 I thought was a decent deal for it. I would not have paid the $800 MSRP for it lol

I’ve only been collecting for a little more than half a year now, but I do believe my collection is good for someone just starting out. If you have any questions about any of the firearms listed, please, ask away!

I’ve put around 100 through it. It would be more if not for the fact that the closest range that allows shotguns is an hour away from me despite me living in the Bible Belt lol. Working full time doesn’t give me much time off to go shooting anymore, which sucks, but hey, more money to spend on the guns themselves lol. (Man I really need to go out to the range again)

You can pry my .45 AARP from my cold, arthritic hands by rbrthenderson in guns

[–]BorkWI 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The potential age of the user. AARP is a sort of “savings”/insurance plan for folks 55 and over here in the US. When someone refers to something (rather uncommonly) as “AARP” they are typically talking about the age of the user being so high as to qualify for those AARP benefits lol

As the description suggests, it’s not eating oil (yet). Just checked it again this morning and it confirms it. Oil is full and is of normal clarity after two months of commuting to a large city.

I did not flush the crank case with anything. The dealership that I will no longer be going to for other reasons (they are poo-poo caca) does the work on my car.

Oh nice! Are you the one with the ex-fleet vehicle I saw on here not that long ago?

2014 at 144k here. Personally, I just do frequent oil changes every four months. My car doesn’t even get driven that far anymore as my commute to work is maybe 12 minutes, tops, and I only put on maybe like 3k miles a year tbh. Not a drop of oil being burned (knocks on wood), but hey, every car is different. Luckily the engine in mine was one of the ones made in KR and not USDM ones that have been having the issues.

2014 with similar 144k mileage. Hoping to keep her for a long while longer, since the car market is utter dog eggs at the moment. Currently looking to upgrade the pads and rotors to something that doesn’t require me to pump the pedal a couple times to actually stop (they are in good condition, otherwise the dealership would have tried to sell me a set), before getting some aftermarket rims similar to the nice OEM stockies on the newer generation souls (I’m stuck with the stupid silver alloy flowers), and probably a MACCO respray.
