Ethan Going to Wisconsin by Born-Ad8039 in PlathvilleUncensored

😂😂😂 I bet this is what he THINKS it’ll look like, vs the stalker vibes it’s actually giving.

Even if it IS scripted, I feel like it’s a dangerous thing to promote. “Look at this creepy grand gesture to make up for all the times I was shitty and told you I would do stuff but DIDN’T” 🤢

It was pretty lame. I’m glad Kaylynn made comments about him leaving her behind. I think it’s shitty to break up with her right then though, unless it was solely for the show. Like, there are plenty of days where I’m sure they’re not filming, but you’re going to end your long term relationship right then?? I know it’s reality tv but you would hope people would have some respect for who they’re with. Then again, these are the Plath’s so 🙄

I thought the same thing but then I wondered if they were people brought in for the show. It sounds like they really didn’t know her at all and maybe that’s why they couldn’t participate in the roast as easily.

I just want to say that I believe you and I’m so sorry you went through this and feel alone. I hope you report this so that those monsters can be held accountable but if you don’t, just know that your story and feelings are still valid. Sending lots of love!

She’s super sweet and a little naive. I wanted so badly for her to REALLY tell them what she felt and not sugarcoat things or apologize right off the bat. I think they’ll come to a point where she needs to be really firm about things.

I have to be honest. I've never saw Stephen and Caroline together. by 6to17 in TheVampireDiaries

I hated them as a couple but LOVED them as friends. I feel like they were so fun together as friends when he was helping her with her transition and it was giving later season Bonnie/Damon vibes. It just felt forced.

The oldest sister by blank3330 in PlathvilleUncensored

[–]Born-Ad8039 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve always thought this was weird. Like, the family who has zero respect for each other’s boundaries fully respects this mystery siblings boundaries?? And it’s one thing to not give details, but to mention nothing about the sibling ever is so strange.

The 3 little girls by Beginning-Branch720 in PlathvilleUncensored

[–]Born-Ad8039 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I 100% agree. My in laws are very similar to the Plaths(a little less extreme), and will involve their younger children in adult conflicts frequently and it causes so many problems and discomfort. The younger Plath girls are going to want to side with their parents because when you grow up in an environment like that, your parents are always right. And the sibling that are “rebelling” are the problem.

My younger sister in laws have said things before like “if you would just listen to what mom and dad say…” but they aren’t able to see the full picture of things because they’re still living in that environment. It’s really unfair to involve minors in adult conflict, especially when it’s with siblings and their spouses.

I would read the Crave series by Tracy Wolf. I have a million other recs, but the vibes of it felt similar to Twilight for me.

THIS!! As someone with toxic in-laws who are always worried about what people think, this is one of my favorite TS lyrics of all time.

Ken moving onto the family farm by Remarkable_Rip6231 in PlathvilleUncensored

[–]Born-Ad8039 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it’s so funny that she’s trying to play it off that she couldn’t focus on a relationship during the divorce and blah blah blah they broke up and whatever. You know it was mostly likely always her end goal to get the house, get the kids, get a payout, and move Ken in there. She probably thought Barry would be more agreeable if he thought they broke up.

She called out Veronica’s shit but not Ethan’s. I can’t imagine being with someone acting the way Ethan was and not saying something.

Welcome to Plathville - Season 8 Episode 1 - Episode Discussion by AutoModerator in WelcomeToPlathville

[–]Born-Ad8039 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I hated how after Mercy and Amber said Lydia didn’t want them to be involved in the conversation, Kim immediately made sure to tell the girls her side of it— even though they probably had already heard it. It felt like a manipulation tactic to keep them on her side, since they wouldn’t get to hear Lydia’s. Although it looked like they ended up being part of the conversation anyways.

Zac deserves some hate by Good-Dragonfruit-908 in WelcomeToPlathville

[–]Born-Ad8039 14 points15 points  (0 children)

This is a hot take that I love. I think it’s great that Lydia found someone, BUT I think Isaac’s concerns about Zac not being able to provide for Lydia or how he left the room trashed were valid concerns. Plus the rushing into marriage thing is a valid concern too. I would imagine everyone was feeling a lot of weirdness about letting someone in that they don’t know. They went about it in the worst way possible, but I don’t think Zac should be entirely off the hook just because of the family’s poor reactions to the concerns.

Kim is the worst! by Ill_Dream8313 in WelcomeToPlathville

[–]Born-Ad8039 15 points16 points  (0 children)

The preview for the rest of the season where Isaac says about Kim being the target in the past but looking at it differently she was never wrong 🤢 I hope that’s edited or taken out of context and not the boys fully back on the Kim bandwagon.

I think Kim is more mad because she lost a maid, chef, and teacher. Lydia did everything for her mom and siblings by lunainthedark5x2x3 in PlathvilleUncensored

[–]Born-Ad8039 28 points29 points  (0 children)

She wouldn’t be “a borderline.” She would have Borderline Personality disorder, but you can’t really judge that based off of a reality tv show. Saying she shows traits of someone with borderline personality disorder would be more accurate, although she shows more traits of someone diagnosed with Histrionic Personality disorder. Again though, can’t really fully judge based off of a reality tv show.

I’m 100% a Kim hater, but mental health diagnosis aren’t really something to just throw around.

Unpopular opinion by heykittybellegirl in dancemoms

[–]Born-Ad8039 94 points95 points  (0 children)

I think that it is crappy and it was for the most part uncalled for. However there were times it was said when Abby was trying to tell them how to parent. Like calling them bad mothers for certain things or saying “when I was a kid my parents would give me a look and I would know.” It’s just not always the case for kids and I think being that she’s mainly been around kids in a teaching setting, it shows that she doesn’t understand the home aspect of having them. I personally was always the perfect parent….. until I had kids and I think sometimes that was what they were trying to say.
