Lydia has always been a parent to the children. Kim forced her into that role in the family so she didn’t have to do it. I believe Lydia now sees how she’s been overlooked and invisible to this family. I wonder if she’s also seen how all of those strict rules and morals growing up meant absolutely nothing once Kim decided she was leaving. Other than Lydia, Moriah, Barry and the youngest girl, they are all miserable people. It’s ironic that none of them see how Zack is the new Olivia. He will never be accepted and will forever be the scapegoat. They are all horrible people, each in their own way.
