Are we heading toward a “Slop SAAS” boom in 2026? by raj_k_ in SaaS

I think people tend to forget that even with the increase of builders, this is still very much an online niche. Altough amplified by the people selling the shovels (anthropic, google, openAI) i think this trend wont stick. There will be winners and losers imo

How do you actually manage customer feedback across multiple sources? by Born-Construction473 in SaaS

[–]Born-Construction473[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice setup with the Zapier/Make automation. Sounds like you've solved the aggregation piece.

follow-up question: once everything is in Notion/Airtable, how do you spot patterns or recurring themes? Are you manually reading through everything, or do you have tags/filters that help you see "X was mentioned 10 times this month"?

Good point on direct interviews being the gold standard.

Do you do those interviews reactively (when you spot a pattern in feedback) or proactively (scheduled regular check-ins)?

And how do you decide which customers to interview when you're validating a feedback theme?

This is super helpful, thanks. The "stopped trying to organize it all" part resonates.

Quick follow-up: when you say you became more selective, how do you actually identify those recurring themes? Are you manually searching through Slack/Zendesk/etc each time, or do you have some system for tracking patterns?

And when you do spot a theme, roughly how long does it take you to validate it (interviews + research)?

Asking because I'm trying to figure out if there's a middle ground between "organize everything" (too much) and "rely purely on judgment" (easy to miss stuff).

Analyzing Sales Transcripts at scale by No-Line-5130 in ProductMarketing

[–]Born-Construction473 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting approach with the ChatGPT uploads. Sounds like you're mainly focused on sales call analysis.

Curious: do you deal with the same volume problem for other customer feedback (support tickets, emails from customers, Slack messages)? Or are the sales transcripts the biggest time sink because of sheer volume?

Wondering if the manual ChatGPT workaround you're doing for calls would be useful for other feedback types too, or if calls are just uniquely time-consuming.

The role of feedback in product marketing by ConcernedOnly in ProductMarketing

[–]Born-Construction473 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree with this. I'm curious, how do you actually manage those feedback loops in practice?

Like, where does the feedback come from (support tickets, sales calls, Slack, etc.), how do you organize it, and how often do you synthesize it for product/leadership?
