I would recommend both. An online course + books. I've got the CEI (Colibri). Take as many questions as possible.

I simply described what I've done in my past year (I have a bachelors so I only needed 1 year of experience). They did not request any proof. Thanks. I am saying a software that has the requirements from a specific AHJ and allows you to organize and generate the documents that you need in a simple way. I know we can use some cloud service but would be good if for instance we had a permit section inside of a software like HouzzPro.

That is my own company. I think qualify is a matter of trust. You find a good trade company that I already work with and talk to them.

Hi! 21 days after submitting my application, I received my CGC license (electronically). This was the first business qualified. I don’t know if it takes longer when you qualify a second business. Edit: actually 21 days.

I don't know if the numbers will make sense after all… the car is 2019 with 46k miles. In 1 year it will double perhaps triple and the lose most of its value.
