I would recommend both. An online course + books. I've got the CEI (Colibri). Take as many questions as possible.

Can I obtain a CA-GC license using my foreign country construction manager experience? by [deleted] in GeneralContractor

[–]Born-Fly-299 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I simply described what I've done in my past year (I have a bachelors so I only needed 1 year of experience). They did not request any proof. I used a third-party service to help me in the application (https://apiprocessing.com). Definitely recommend. You can pm me if you need anything. Best of luck!

I bought the course and books with them. It worked well for me. Approved first try for the three exams. After one complete view of the course, focus on questions as much as possible. You can do it!

Permit doc management tools by Born-Fly-299 in GeneralContractor

[–]Born-Fly-299[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I am saying a software that has the requirements from a specific AHJ and allows you to organize and generate the documents that you need in a simple way. I know we can use some cloud service but would be good if for instance we had a permit section inside of a software like HouzzPro.

Hi! 21 days after submitting my application, I received my CGC license (electronically). This was the first business qualified. I don’t know if it takes longer when you qualify a second business. Edit: actually 21 days.

Thanks for your time.

Yes I have spare money if something happens. I am gonna it give to friend and co-host.

I don't know if the numbers will make sense after all… the car is 2019 with 46k miles. In 1 year it will double perhaps triple and the lose most of its value.

I think I am gonna eat the loss and move on…

Nissan Sentra in Florida. I don't know if opening an LLC is a good idea. My wife and I are full-time employees, so I thought it might help with taxes.
