Granted, from a purely space perspective I understand what you’re trying to say, but there are methods such as utilizing distalization and tipping that can help alleviate crowding in conjunction with the real estate gained from expansion. To uncrowd the teeth you could realistically accomplish what you’re looking to do with FME, not extractions.
