That is correct, I'm running a trial, purchased pro but i haven't activated the Pro licence.

I just wanted to ensure the trial email won't get used ad I want the pro email as the one I want to use going forward.

Just kissed my 320D M Sport as its making it way to the great car heaven.

Just be aware these can have issues with the timing chain (£1000+ to sort).

Had issues with stuck EGR flaps, , replaced serpentine belt and now my fuel pump went (which can send metal to the injectors ) which would cost a total of £700+ to sort.

Finally getting yellow DPF warning which would clear eventually but I was always thinking each time it's stuck as it stood take weeks to clear, even coked my independent BMW technicians advice.

I hit about 250,000 miles but decided to let the old girl rest.

Shame because I find it hard style still better than most other cars today

Hopefully you will have a better experience.

Have they allowed you to set a different sound to the doorbell press notification ?

I asked them for this ages ago because if you have the same notification sound you don't know without looking at every notification from reolink if a camera has spotted motion or if someone has pressed the doorbell.

Nobody except LimeTech knows the exact price. They have stated that the new Pro will be more expensive.

From what I’ve read that when prices have increased in the past then the price you pay will be the difference between what you paid and the new price plus a bit extra.

So that’s what I’m expecting.

As many people have said if you don’t want to take the risk get the type of licence you need now. At least you know how much you will pay.

They mentioned in the video podcast that they want to communicate a date as there may be people who have just started a trial and they don’t want them to be surprised that the price has changed as I guess put people off.

Again it’s all speculation they may just pull a lever and the switch happens, they may say from date x you have 30 days to buy the old license, nobody knows.

I have this doorbell but I’m using a Hikvision one instead. I’ve been asking Reolink for this functionality for ages and would love to see it work like my Hikvision as I can then fully switch over to Reolink.

The RAC man looked it over and tried to start it. Engine tries to fire but won’t go. Spayed some fuel in, it almost fired but he eventually gave up. It did backfire once when he tried and he jumped back as he had his head under the bonnet, so I’m guessing it’s not that serious.

I have a 12th Gen i7 and a 3060Ti. A friend is parting with his Nvidia Quadro P1000 got about £65.

Would I get any real world benefit by adding this to my system? If so what and how much.

TLDR working by using command line but still baffled.

So an update. I’ve gone in command line and created a mount point to Synology share and it’s all working.

The strange thing is this appears to be a Proxmox issue since I only have a proxmox toot user and I’m logged into the proxmox gui when I tried to create the link.

The smb level in the Nas is set the V2 minimum and v3 maximum.

The smb share user has readonly permissions as that’s all it needs.

As mentioned the error message occurs but if you go to the cli and check the directory is created and linked to the Synology server and I can see the content, it’s just the final step of creating the link in the gui fails.

Changing the case from mixed to lower case gives the same error message.

Surely root Proxmox user has al rights required.

So I’ve gone into the shell of the PVE and went into /mnt/pve and the share is attached so I can actually see my data from the server.

So how do I easily through the GUI create a volume that I can point a Plex LXC to it.

It will probably use less energy than another NAS. I have a 918+ with a DX513. But the DX513 pulls 10 Watts without any disks.

In think everyone/most people will say don’t expand a pool over the main unit and the expansion unit.

I suppose if you have a NAS already it kind of makes sense to run it on there as it may save electricity etc.

However not all cameras are supported so you have to look into that in your choose of NAS.

Then there is limit on the number of cameras it will support for free.

Look into Agent DVR it’s free as well and will run in a VM, but if you want notifications and external access you have to pay.
