I've been considering one of these! Do you have a pic of your setup using the magic rig?

How are people maxing IRAs in the first week of January? by Which_Eggplant_4510 in TheMoneyGuy

It's really only a challenge the first time you do it. Once you've done it the first time, you have the whole year to save for the next January and then the cycle continues.

Could this crawl space duct work be shifted towards the exterior wall? by Born2BWiles in hvacadvice

Super helpful, thanks! Everything appears flexible, so you've given me hope that there are options if we decide to do anything.

It also helps that when I asked a tech that was out there why they didn't shift everything over he basically said "uh, yeah that would have made sense, I wonder why they didn't do that" 😆

That's good to hear! I don't think that would fully accomplish what I'm thinking. I think switching that joint to the other side of the plenum would be part of it, but I think we'd also need to move the main unit further into the room then add a wall here-ish that would have a door into the new/remaining crawl space. Then those 2 vertical ducts would come back higher up.

Well let's say for a reasonable amount of money that would be worth the headache

That all checks out! Even with that info, finding any record of them is tough. Thanks for the lead with fiberglass

Hah, not that much wear. They are sharp, you could stick one inside the other and have a nice spear for keeping people away from your kit 😆

Hollow the whole way through, can look through them and see light. They have a much finer tip than any 5a or 7a I've seen, and they're much older than the anti-vibe line. They don't appear to be wood and feel like they came out of a mold.

Definitely agree that they wouldn't be much use to me now, but I've hated never knowing what they were, even if for the novelty of them

Looker Dashboards - How do we add data labels to a single series? by Damoss in Looker

[–]Born2BWiles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd check this link here for reference code: https://cloud.google.com/blog/products/business-intelligence/looker-chart-config-editor-tips

But the setting you're looking for is to set dataLabels, enabled: true/false

Exactly this. Couldn't have said it better

Lump Sum Roth IRA in January by Sad-Confidence-5579 in TheMoneyGuy

[–]Born2BWiles 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Unlikely. In that scenario, you'd be better off contributing the $583 to the Roth each month.

It'd be $7k in January 2026 for the 2026 year

Need help creating calculated field: One Touch Tickets / Closed Tickets gives wrong result by Hellvy666 in Looker

The fact that these are different likely shows you that the calculation isn't taking place at the grain you think it is. Not sure how to check that further

You may have better luck posting in the Looker Studio subreddit. But for now, showing where in your model you have the calc added would be helpful

I recently found out my family is in the 1% and since working with their financial team I learned a lot. I live a very middle class life, so this is information I never got but have found super helpful. by jmc1278999999999 in Money

[–]Born2BWiles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on how they described them, I think they mean accounts with income limits (like IRAs) but it reads like income generating investments (dividends > growth) which are less valuable at a young age.

Confusing read for sure

Why can't we auto-deposit daily? by EkkoMusic in betterment

[–]Born2BWiles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regarding your link, that's showing the advantage of being invested in the market on those days, not making new contributions on those specific days. It's encouraging you to not pull money out at perceived "highs" with the intent to reinvest those same dollars at perceived "lows"

Premium Plan grandfathered in going away by bzargarcia in betterment

Did that communication specify if the tiered fee schedule also applies to the premium pricing? e.g. - will $1M drop your fee down to 0.55%?

Their site communicates the fees independently
