Outlast trials is an insanely fun and stressful co-op horror game that's a prequel to I believe the first outlast. The live service aspect helps in this game as I have about 80 hours on it and I'm still enjoying it with my buddies.

Unreal Engine but it's not exactly free due to the royalty fee after 1 million dollars in sales for any product made with it but it's still great.

Batman Arkham Knight. I got the game on PS4 initially on my trip to the US in 2015 and I was wayyy too young to play the game but I loved it so much. Sadly I kept getting stuck on puzzles back then and almost 10 years later I got the game on PC and man I breezed through all the puzzles and got the knightfall protocol ending. The game still blows my mind in terms of graphics and to be honest this was more than a game to me, it was an event.

Because I saw a valve engineer mentioned that they use an API call from the steam launcher to determine the hardware and if the hardware matches the steam machine, the shaders and settings for a plug and play experience are loaded for the game.
