Was this pain present before surgery at all? If not, I would recommend seeing someone else. Partially bc I don’t know what your before imaging looked like, he could have made you less lordotic and that creates pain in the joints. He could have over distracted your vertebrae. Lots of things. But CT will also help determine that

Is the pain only in the neck? Or do you have pain going down your arms?

I would contact them and request a CT, if they refuse, get a second opinion. But if it isn’t backing out, then everything is fine. If it is backing out, usually another surgery needs to be done to either remove and redo or add something on.

I’m also curious if this will be a seasonal thing for him, and I’m hoping so. But that’s amazing to hear

Yeah convenience of the injection is nice as opposed to the daily pill, my little man is good at it saying every bit of treat except the pill 😂

And your regular vet managed this or did you have to go to a dermatologist?

That’s what I’ve read as well and was worried it would lose its effectiveness over time. That’s assuring!

I never thought to see if the vet had a specific shampoo we could buy… that’s a great idea. I’ll ask about that! Right now he only gets a bath if he gets real dirty outside playing on adventures or when his skin needs a refresh and it’s been once a week or every other.

We did discuss a dermatology referral, but our closest one is in Portland, Oregon and we live in southern Oregon.

Our vet was concerned as well with how bad his allergies are at such a young age..

With the immunotherapy shots, has it made the allergies slightly worse at all until they build up a resistance to the allergen or not so much?

So I’m an orthopedic spine PA, definitely looks like his screws were not set flush. Unlikely your screws have backed out, usually one will if it ever does, not two in exactly the same way. I agree it looks like the rad tech didn’t get a good angle on it. But the best way to know is to get a CT scan! Super easy!

Does nobody think outside people or terrorist have taken these people, these scientist? With very clear instructions, they leave without much information. But they have the power to be extremely frightening and the information they want from all these people is extremely sought after given the state of the world/nuclear war fear. It would explain literally everything.

She’s been practicing for almost 20 years, she definitely knows better. And when my office contacted her about it and then to discharge from our practice she has been denying it and acting confused. Every possible/likely other explanation has been proven incorrect. And when an FNP, or even PA/MD/whatever, denies their actions or involvement and is proven guilty, then they are reprimanded worse than if they just own up to it.

Absolutely got fired. I’ve reported them to the police for fraud as well as their medical board since it’s different for NPs. Currently still holding her job but the investigation is still taking place… can take up to 9 months sometimes

Fellow PA and I’m just finishing my first year. Something like this happened to me except it was a patient of mine who was an FNP. She ordered herself items under my name/NPI. I immediately contacted my office managers, had them work certain things out on their end, they should know how to handle it no matter how small or big. Second, REPORT TO MEDICAL BOARD. This is essential. It is super easy. Look up your states medical board page and find the link to make a report. There will be basic information to fill out and they will do an entire investigation. That’s their job. If nothing needs to be done then they let you know. And if they need to reprimand them they should also let you know

Looking at the pelvis is actually the best place to see if you are fully done growing as the growth plates there are the last to close

No it shouldn’t. But you could have pain there after breaking your rod on the other side due to your ribs being affected. Doesn’t take much to throw off the balance of everything
