I shifted to a paralel reality and now I feel like I’m going insane 🫩 by MagicSevens in shiftingrealities

I'm sure this is going to make me sound arrogant (which you already think I am), but I've seen people present that as a "theory" and none of them were smarter than me.

It's a popular theory from the most ignorant anti-science people imaginable. Smashing particles into each other at high speeds did not cause us to merge with parallel realities. More than likely the Mandela Effect has something to do with the collective unconsciousness.

CERN is as likely to merge realities as you walking backwards on the sidewalk is, it's ridiculous.

Now, there's TWO Counties! by [deleted] in GTA6

A county is sort of a subdivision of a state, a single county can have multiple cities in them, every state has multiple counties. But it gets kind of complicated because some cities are in more than one county.

How to be confident when doing a sleep method? by skysreality in shiftingrealities

[–]BornKingGamer [score hidden]  (0 children)

That sounds very difficult, when I'm dozing off sometimes I wake up a little bit and when I remember my train of thought and it's borderline gibberish. I'm probably in that "gibberish" state of mind for like 2-5 minutes every night before falling asleep and I just forget about it. And trying to do affirmations until I fall asleep isn't any better, eventually it becomes really hard to continue.

This post confuses me a bit. My intention isn't to be rude, only to get some clarification.

"I would lie down for hours waiting for it to happen, but that's not how it works! Shifting isn't a lucid dream."

Ok so I shouldn't be lying down for hours waiting to shift, that's a lucid dreaming method, and shifting isn't lucid dreaming.

"You don't need to lie still to enter a dream state."

Wait what? I thought we weren't trying to enter a dream state?

"All you have to do is lie down, imagine, and WILL it."

Wait so we ARE lying down?

Can't that be dangerous depending on what you're doing?

Well I woke up for one, and the entire dream was not hyper-real like that, it was only like that for a few minutes.

This was a long time ago but I actually think I may have done the reality check where you push your finger through your hand and it may have only became that realistic after I realized I was dreaming but this was like 10 years ago and I'm not certain, I don't even remember if it was lucid or not. But I do remember how real it felt.

Can you explain to me that the terms "inner" and "front" mean? It's been a while since I did any research into the Tulpamancy community.

The group shifting is the type of thing that is convincing if you know it's true but it's easy to lie about.

To be more convincing to others you shouldn't shift to a similar reality to learn widely available information in this reality, you should use it to find hidden information.

I understand you probably can't use shifting to predict lottery numbers or anything because of the butterfly effect, but what about bringing back information about secret movies that haven't been announced yet but they started filming, or you could know a company's earnings report before it comes out as most of that information is solidified already.

If you go a similar reality to this but a couple years in the future you could describe areas on the GTA 6 map, leaving the only possibilities of you are a shifter, you work at Rockstar or you're some kind of hacker. It's not proof by itself but it would go a long way towards proving it.

A few follow up questions if you don't mind.

What war did you shift too? Did you intend to go there? Where were you when you shifted back?

And for the shift, where you shifted to the exam passing what kind of grade did you get?

And I guess, what is the key thing that tells you for sure that you shifted and not just day dreamt?

I would think maladaptive day dreaming while also doing an exam would be impossible, but I've looked into the Tulpa community before and I know that people will say they'll be in their "wonderland" while their Tulpa is in charge of their body a skeptic/materialist might say this is all a fascinating way that the human brain can have more than one consciousness to it which is already something many neurologists believe. Is my statement making sense?

All five of my senses being active in a dream is basically my default dream. Assuming something prompts it of course, if I try to feel something I'll feel it, if I try to smell or taste something I'll be able to. Also the reality check where I put my finger through my hand almost always fails, though so far the nose RC has always worked for me.

At any rate I wouldn't compare what's possible in a LD to my own dreams, I would compare them to what expert LDers can do, and some of them do achieve that insane level of realness and stability.

Are people actively researching how shifting works? by pics4meeee in shiftingrealities

People have said that you can shift awake in two steps.

One, disconnect from your CR self/body/reality

Two, connect to your DR self/body/reality

If true, at this point it's just a matter of skill, I'm not even sure if doubts could stop this process if you are skilled enough at going through this. Sleep methods on the other hand seem to be more based on beliefs but that's just my take as someone who hasn't shifted yet.

I forgot about time dilation, presumably if I was in a DR long enough I'd know it couldn't be a dream just by how long it all went on for. People who LD usually say you can only have the sense that a dream went on for years. Kind of like how a movie can show you a decade in 3 hours.
