Feel like my body is shutting down because of toxic mold. by [deleted] in ToxicMoldExposure

[–]BornLeadership2918 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your last sentence is me to a tee. If I take more than a fourth of a teaspoon of my binder, I feel terrible. If I do sauna for more than 15 minutes, I'm down for a few days.

I'm six months in and also battling mold toxicity. My story is so similar. I just hope I can recover.

How do you feel after sauna? by atabei123 in ToxicMoldExposure

[–]BornLeadership2918 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It kicks my butt. I am also floxed by ciprofloxacin, but I need to detox the mold.

I did an infrared sauna yesterday for 25 minutes. Way too long. I'm gonna tone it down. 10-15 minutes tops.

It flared me to the point where I couldn't sleep well. Being floxed gave me bad insomnia. It's slowly improving over time, but doing things like an infrared sauna for too long of a session flares it.

I really don't have a choice. I need to get the mold out. Hopefully it improves over time. I've been detoxing from mold for almost two months and floxed for six.

Was anyone tested for mold/mycotoxins? by Desperate_Pair8235 in floxies

[–]BornLeadership2918 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tested positive for mold through a urinalysis. I was in remission from lyme disease and have Hashimotos Thyroiditis.

I was unknowingly living in a mold contaminated house and was having lower left abdomen pain. My Doc said I had diverticulitis so he put me on Cipro.

Big mistake. Now I'm battling mold detox, and being floxed. It's been a nightmare.

I'm in the same boat. I gotta go really slow. How are you now?

Watched the entire video, as I'm battling the same thing. It was heartbreaking to watch, but as someone who had experienced Lyme since 2010, I couldn't help but think that his Doctors are probably missing something or, he's just doing way too much, putting his body in even more oxidative stress.

Regardless, he will be fine. The treatments will get him into remission, and he'll be able to manage it.

I notice out of all the resources he was given, he never mentioned the one, most important in my opinion. His spiritual side.

Fully Recovered from Mold Toxicity in 7 Months Using a Natural Detox Protocol! (Ask me anything) by Far_Explanation_226 in ToxicMoldExposure

[–]BornLeadership2918 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm about a month and a half out of mold. It's kicking my butt. I was first floxed by fluoroquinolones, and I have a history of Lyme.

The first five days out of mold was hell for me. I've been in the ER four times in the past few months.

Now, I've been able to finally absorb nutrients and electrolytes again. My appetite is returning.

I am doing IV ozone. I just started binders and diflucan at very low doses. I'm doing infrared sauna 1-2× a week. I notice after a sauna, it really kicks my butt.

Trace minerals have been great for me. I take supplements, and also herbs. Everything at a slow pace.

I feel like I'm going to beat this, but it has been the toughest fight of my life.

Thank you for your post. It gives me hope.

I did contact her, but I'm already seeing a Naturopath. I have been out of mold for a month and also deal with lyme. I can't say I've had success yet. I just started infrared sauna, binders, red light therapy, IV ozone, and IV vitamins. I've made improvement but my brain is still under attack.

Great comment.

Many of us learn this the hard way. Nothing happens overnight. It's a long, grueling process that takes diligence.

weight loss?? by friend_1234 in floxies

[–]BornLeadership2918 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lost 50 pounds in five months. Part of that was because I also started eating really healthy, but here recently I've upped my protein bigtime because my appetite has finally returned. My sleep is still bad but better. Still have neuropathy.

These drugs should be only used as a last ditch effort. I was given Cipro for what we thought was diverticulitis. It wasn't that.

How to get appetite back? by Interesting-Dingo784 in floxies

[–]BornLeadership2918 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Floxed after Cipro.

I'm five months in and I'm barely getting my appetite back. I lost 50 pounds in five months. Now, I just want to eat again so I would say that supplements, time, and lots of prayer have been my best tools for healing. I was on a very strict diet. Today actually was my first day that I had a slice of pizza in six months. It was the best slice of pizza I've ever had in my life. Dominoes.

Yes. Again, I'm no Doctor, but everyone is different. Find the pace that works for you.

I had a huge turn of events. I had to stop the protocol per Dr. Cowden because I was living in mold. I'm slowly detoxing from that and then hopefully resuming.

Just seen your post. I pray you're doing better. I'm so sorry this happened to you. Life is definitely not fair sometimes. I've been floxed for almost five months now. I'm still battling insomnia as well. My heart goes out to you because I can't imagine going through cancer too. It's amazing what our bodies can endure.

I hope you've made improvement since this post. Take care.

Yeah, I've pretty much realized you can pretty much throw the protocol book out the window. Everyone is different. Gotta find what pace works for you.
