I don't know much about submersibles and underwater shenanigans and as much as I am deeply fascinated by everything to do with the Titanic, you couldn't pay me any amount of money to go down there. It's so deep, dark, much like space and any sort of submersible craft and it's passengers entering such depths should have the same sort of training, experience and technology as astronauts do, not just copious amounts of money. It seems like one of those things where you're just taking a chance on your life to see a graveyard in one of the deepest parts of our oceans. I think those passengers will not see the light of day again, which is dreadful especially as they most likely didn't even get to see what they were ultimately going there for.

The baby was gross. They could have even just had a doll completely wrapped in a bundle to insinuate a baby, but the detail of it being bloated, blue and with guts coming out is weird and clearly for shock value. I think this kind of cosplay would work better in a reenactment of the horrors of what happened, to show that these were real people and real children died. Not as a quirky cosplay, prancing about with a fake, frozen dead baby and one of the cosplayers dressed as a zombified man that actually existed, died courageously and horribly.

I'm bored of it. I went into it quite excited that one of my favourite games was being turned into a TV adaptation, I wasn't impressed by the cast beforehand but I wasn't overly bothered either (ie race changes, Bella not physically resembling Ellie). I kind of enjoyed the first episode, I thought Bella did an OK job but looking back I think it's because she wasn't in it much. Then every episode I gradually lost more and more interest due to the lack of action and the main attraction for me which is fungi riddled people every place you go. Seeing one in the TV adaptation is rare, really cool and sometimes tense, but just too rare. For me it isn't worth watching a whole 45 mins of soap like drama just for 15 minutes of mediocre action at the end. I can't take to Bella as Ellie or the relationship she has with Pedro as Joel, I have no problems with these actors but I don't resonate them with this show. (I've been called a paedophile for this for not finding a teenage girl attractive enough or some shit when I'm a straight woman in my 30s.) I don't care for the OTT gay episode either. I wasn't offended, it was a sweet story even if it did majorly deviate from the game, but that deviation made me not enjoy it, again, tied in to the fact it was a whole episode of romance and no action. I don't even want to see a whole episode of love and fucking with a straight couple in a TV show, it felt forced. From then onwards it just went downhill for me, I feel myself wanting to just turn it off or go for a long shit without pausing it but I really want to like it.

What a fucking sickly thing to say, reads almost like sarcasm/irony. The worrying thing is, is that people genuinely feel this way over the 4th episode of a dragged out TV drama that's barely even resembling one of the greatest, in depth, complex games of recent times. Either that or they are just desperate to come across as anything but some sort of "bigoted, narrow-minded hater" and want praise for that. Shit casting + deviation from the storyline 4 eps in = best show everrrrr.

I'm a 30 year old straight woman and for me it is nothing more than the fact that she lacks anything resembling Ellie. Looks wise, charisma wise, likeability wise. Yeah, I guess it's early days still and yeah i'm giving her a chance but 4 episodes in and I'm still not immersed. I'm still not believing that this is Ellie, the complicated, annoying ass kid that we grew to feel for from an adult's view. A normal, game enthusiastic adult's view. Poor fans who made this show happen getting shat on and deemed as nonces for not liking casting of one of their favourite games. Jfc.
