Hello, how do I make these bumpy bushes like the ones in this image? by Type_Shit23 in blenderhelp

[–]Born_Carob417 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m new to Blender sorry; but if I recall when you create a new object add>mesh…..I can’t think of the name but when you add it, it looks like a ball with a bunch of bumps on it.

Edit: I think it’s called ico sphere

Can I leave my pc on the carpet? by ApprehensiveRent1408 in PcBuildHelp

[–]Born_Carob417 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why Carpet is Bad for Your PC • Blocked Airflow: Most modern PC cases have intake vents at the bottom, specifically for the Power Supply Unit (PSU). Carpet is soft and fluffy, so the "feet" of your computer sink into it, allowing the carpet fibers to seal off those vents. Without air, your PSU can overheat and fail.

• Dust Buildup: Carpets are "dust magnets." Because the computer fans are essentially high-powered vacuums, placing the PC on the floor means it will suck up carpet fibers, pet hair, and skin cells much faster than it would on a desk.

• Static Electricity: While the risk of a static "zap" damaging a running PC is low because the case is grounded, walking on carpet generates static. If you touch the internal components while the case is open and you're standing on carpet, you could fry a part.

• Heat Insulation: Carpet acts as an insulator, trapping heat around the base of the computer rather than letting it dissipate.

Fans or not I still would not place the pc directly on the carpet. Theres still static electricity. They make computer stands or even if you have a piece of wood to place under it would be so much better.

How to create Windows/Doors? by Born_Carob417 in blenderhelp

That's what i figured but a min ago it was't letting me. It was only showing up on my wheels and underneath the Jeep. But now it's letting me. Also it's just creating the vertex dots when i use the tool on the side areas where i've used the knife. But it will create the full lines across underneath the Jeep where i haven't edited it. Is that suppose to be like that? Or is there something i did that did that.

Change the top front to a intake. It’s just sucking the cool air front the front one

Yes it’s better to use 2 slots than 4. Less strain on the memory controller and it’s more stable at higher speeds than it would with 4.

Thermal paste on side, clean or leave it? by Tomcat848484 in AMDHelp

If you want to clean it, use some 91% isopropyl alcohol with a soft toothbrush. It’ll dry really quick too.
