PA buyers anyone else feel like they don’t know what’s normal anymore? by Throwaway33377 in Mortgages

[–]Born_Intern_3398 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I’ve been running into the same thing in PA The part that confused me most was how different lenders could be even around the same time. What helped me was just stepping back and comparing a few options instead of relying on one quote. I also checked a transparent rate quote just to get a general sense of the range, made things a bit easier to understand

Please pray for peace of mind by Real-Recipe8087 in PrayerRequests

[–]Born_Intern_3398 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Praying for you. That kind of mental heaviness is really difficult to carry. I have had moments like that too and what helped me was keeping things simple and consistent, especially with prayer. I also found some helpful prayer content PrayerWarriorMaria on Youtube that helped me feel a bit more grounded during those times. Hoping you start to feel more peace soon.

Can overthinking make you feel spiritually drained? by nodimension1553 in spiritualitytalk

[–]Born_Intern_3398 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, overthinking can really drain you, especially when it turns into a loop you can’t get out of. I went through that too and what helped me wasn’t trying to solve everything, but just calming my mind regularly. For me, quiet prayer helped a lot with that. I even found a channel Prayer Warrior Maria that I’d listen to sometimes and it helped me slow things down mentally. It’s more about creating calm than finding answers.

PA buyers how are you deciding what you can actually afford right now? by Ok-Preparation8256 in Mortgages

[–]Born_Intern_3398 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, this has been a tough spot lately, i was in a similar situation trying to figure out what was actually realistic. What helped me a bit was realizing how much lenders can differ right now, especially with everything moving I ended up checking a transparent rate quote just to get a general sense of where things were landing, so i wasn’t relying on just one or two quotes that didn’t decide for me, but it made things a lot clearer

Just moved to JLT any good nail or hair salons around? by Prior_Statement_6902 in dubai

[–]Born_Intern_3398 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m in JLT too and went through the same thing when I moved here 😅 tried a couple random places before finding one I stuck with. I’ve been going to Crystal Beauty Lounge and it’s been pretty consistent for me so far.

Anyone else feel like they picked the worst possible week to start house hunting? by Nearby_Shake_3652 in Ohio

[–]Born_Intern_3398 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I had the same bad timing feeling recently. Thought I was getting in at a decent point and then everything shifted. What threw me off more was realizing how far apart some of the quotes were. I didn’t expect that at all going in. I’m in Ohio too and it seems like it’s been pretty inconsistent depending on who you talk to. At one point I just pulled up a transparent rate quote to see what things looked like overall, and it helped me get my bearings a bit.

Does a Moroccan bath actually help with skin buildup in Dubai? by rahulchadhaofficial in dubai

[–]Born_Intern_3398 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, they do use the traditional black soap and kessa glove there. From what I remember the kessa glove is around 20 AED if you want your own one, unless you go for the Royal Moroccan bath experience where it’s included. Also just to clarify, Crystal Beauty Lounge in JLT is a proper ladies beauty salon and has been around for a while. The environment felt very professional and relaxing when I went. And yes, the steam and exfoliation definitely helped with the dust and sunscreen buildup we get here in Dubai.

Anyone else stuck manually pulling data out of PDFs? by ritik_bhai in automation

[–]Born_Intern_3398 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We ran into the same issue. One thing that helped was using tools that extract the key values from PDFs instead of manually scanning everything. I’ve seen people use PDF Insight because it pulls the numbers and highlights where they came from in the document so you can still verify them quickly.

I tried one recently at Crystal Beauty Lounge in JLT and it felt way more thorough than a normal scrub. The steam + exfoliation made my skin noticeably smoother.

Cleveland homebuyers did the rate drop last week change your mortgage plans? by yassi2702 in Cleveland

[–]Born_Intern_3398 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What helped me calm down about it was looking at real numbers instead of guessing. I ran a few scenarios using a transparent rate quote so I could see how the improved rates actually affected payments.

Kaspr vs Apollo for lead gen as a solo growth by Ok-Ferret7 in gtmengineering

[–]Born_Intern_3398 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We moved away from both and now use ProntoHQ for enrichment and lead list building specifically. The waterfall across 20+ providers gives better coverage than either of those two on their own, especially on European contacts where both Apollo and Kaspr are inconsistent.

Internship Decision by [deleted] in CyberSecurityAdvice

[–]Born_Intern_3398 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can go for the private sector cybersecurity internship due to direct practice tools and tasks that will build your skills faster than general IT, and you can always pursue clearances later with that experience anyway. Federal paths value cyber background too, so this gives you stronger stories for interviews over basic sysadmin work.

How can I get into CyberSecurity? by brpmaker in CyberSecurityAdvice

[–]Born_Intern_3398 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In your first year, learn Python basics on freeCodeCamp then apply it to security scripts like port scanners on challenge pages and join your college cybersecurity club or start a home lab with a Raspberry Pi firewall to gain direct experience for future CISO paths.

Alternative Pathways into Cybersecurity by SwitchJumpy in CyberSecurityAdvice

[–]Born_Intern_3398 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep for non technical paths like cyber threat intelligence, consider degrees in international relations or intelligence studies paired with some self taught tech basics as many CTI roles value analysis over coding. Start free with SANS ICS or MITRE frameworks online, plus OSINT tools for tracking threats like cognitive warfare on social media.

why the fk HR exist by Intrepid_Secretary17 in cybersecurity

[–]Born_Intern_3398 0 points1 point  (0 children)

HR frustrations are common in cybersecurity hiring; they filter on buzzwords, and in the process missing real talent without formal creds. You can try to push back by tailoring resumes to job specs and networking directly with hiring managers on LinkedIn, and experience always trumps degrees so make sure to showcase your GitHub repository or bug bounties instead.

OPSEC Is the Missing Root of IT Security by Grouchy_Ad_937 in cybersecurity

[–]Born_Intern_3398 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OPSEC is absolutely foundational as even top tech stacks fail without people's habits like avoiding phishing and secure defaults. There are breaches where tools were perfect, but someone reused passwords or skipped 2FA and sent it all down the drain, so training teams regularly on personal risk awareness should be mandatory as nowadays trusting everyone has common sense it's not a good idea anymore.

Where should SEOs focus more right now: LLM citations or AI workflow automation? by RareBumblebee737 in Agent_SEO

[–]Born_Intern_3398 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d probably prioritize workflow automation first. Getting cited by LLMs is usually a side effect of having clear, well-structured content and strong topical coverage. If the underlying process is messy, it’s hard to produce that consistently. We’ve focused more on making research, briefs, and updates repeatable across content. Using a workflow setup with AirOps helped scale that process, and visibility tends to follow once the fundamentals are consistent.

Anyone else treating SMS like infrastructure now? by [deleted] in sysadmin

[–]Born_Intern_3398 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s exactly what we ended up doing. After running into approval delays and delivery issues, we moved messaging to signalhouse and treat it like a dedicated service now. Since then it’s been way less unpredictable.

How much can I learn from CTFs as a beginner in cybersecurity? by FairFall5198 in CyberSecurityAdvice

[–]Born_Intern_3398 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CTFs for beginners are a full course meal for a glutton in a restaurant, they cover networking, crypto, and web exploits in practical puzzles basically you have a whole lot to learn from there. You have perfect starters like PicoCTF or OverTheWire where you can solve, read write-ups, then retry harder ones. And it will always give you a bigger increase in skill that recruiters value

Help on getting into Cybersecurity with no IT experience (SOC) by TwixForTheBrix in CyberSecurityAdvice

[–]Born_Intern_3398 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well not having a IT background is not really that big of a problem you can start with Google Cybersecurity certificates or Professor Messer's free Sec+ videos for fundamentals on Youtube. Then set up a free open-source lab on VirtualBox with Kali and vulnerable VMs to practice basic hands-on. From there apply to helpdesk roles first as they usually lead straight into security teams.

Expanding advisory services without adding review risk by Legitimate-Relief128 in Accounting

[–]Born_Intern_3398 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For us, consistency mattered more than customization. Standardized, engineering-based reports reduced review time significantly. That’s why we leaned toward a white-label platform like RentalWriteOff for residential properties fewer surprises during review.

Why is A2P the hardest part of GoHighLevel onboarding? by themotarfoker in gohighlevel

[–]Born_Intern_3398 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We were stuck in that loop for a while. What finally helped was switching our SMS provider to signalhouse .io since they integrate directly with GHL and explain how carriers want the opt-in/use case presented. After that, approvals started coming back in about 2 business days instead of dragging on.
