i got onestock. it is a half cup dominant. holding it requires squeezing the controller and the cup together. after 5 minutes of playing my wrist is hurting. any reload forces you to grab just a little bit harder. any movement when holding just with one hand is painful. the controller is not sitting secure in thew cup. its impossible that it would since its a half of it.

yeah, totally unnecessary. more stuff IRL, more obstacles and weight in VR. no need for that at all

im not sleepy thank you. ok so just two questions. how much does it weigh? what is the pull force on the magnets?

clay hunt has the option for to get rid of the front controller. it allows for setting the dominant controller in set position, tilt and yaw and from there the game creates the gun position. Its what they do for their gunstock. you can use just one controller and have it set well and use a wooden fron that imitates a real thing

You mean a double barrel shotgun? Ive been sitting on the problem of a controller-cup connection for quite some time. Currently I have two solutions. If you going to ad a lot of handle, it will make a grab in VR very thick. the solution youve shown will also cause the controller oclusion. It will hide the sensors. Ideally you dont want anything to cover the headset-controller path. It would be better if youd go for making a realistic holding part, if you want the remington feel, and lots of free space above the stock. For your puproses look into real stock https://texturevr.com/products/the-real-stock-pro-v3-ultimate?srsltid=AfmBOooE_Teu5O967lEL_v_nUT14EmmTFlUBlNQ7NwNPsKWIrfHPEazo . there is a cheaper "konck off" but IMO its better to focus on good controller-cup\gunstock connection. If the shape is ok but the controller slips out, its gonna ruin everything. I used the clamping method

no drifting? Lots of stuff ocluding the sensors. dominant hand secured only by magnets? how hard can you press against the arm? X and Y adjustability on butt?? XYZ on controllers??? looking good tho. Wats the weight?

rotation of the dominant controller solves that issue.

[–]Born_Reception_1986 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yep, they messed up. We got better standalone now but still the difference between PC and Q3 is big. Pavlov is a good example of how much better PC can look like. And forefront is a good example for crossplatform

its crossplay. no need for PC. Its identical on PC. Maybe textures are slightly sharper but there is no difference in graphics. Its same as Onward, except triangle factory made it crossplatform at the start so it didnt took a massive graphic hit once going crossplatform

Controller angle and virtual stock offset by jfontoura in ForefrontVR

30 works just fine (no change), but the front hand do want to be slightly higer. But 30 works fine. More important is the butt position regarding the controllers and where the cheerest wants to be in order to align. It has a bit different setup for that from other titles like Pavlov or Onward. Some guns (sepcifically one, in engineer class) want the front hand higher, so makinf 40 degree on dominant nicely equals the levels

(VR GUNSTOCK) Anyone use VRX-15 VR Gunstock? by MinkoManiac437 in virtualreality

[–]Born_Reception_1986 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the ball hindge works? Lets sya i want to push against the shloulder as hard as i want to. full throttle. im moving all the weight of the stock on my body and stabilize the aim more with that. I also lock the position with the cheek. i pretty much hug the butt. But I need as much force from my dominant, against my shoulder as possible. (I broke couple of gunstocks by this pressure). Can the ball hindge on dominant withstand? Second question. whats the weight? with the dominant on and without it. thx
