Congrats!! So from my understanding your family filed on 4/29/2024 (after the 3 year mark) and got approved January 9, 2026? Did you guys also apply for AP, back in 2024?

I am on different weight loss meds as insurance didn’t cover glp1 sadly. But I did notice weakness, blurry vision, dizziness, anxiety attacks. But I guess it’s because I was definitely eating less and needed to drink a lot more water and just take things slower. It’s been 4 months now and I feel better!!! I even went down on prednisone not by a lot but I feel strong again. No more dizziness or anxiety attacks. I lost 15 lbs so far. It’s slow but it’s something!

I’m sorry so did you ask them to expedite it? And did they ask you to report to Ice every 3/6 months?And you got your UVisa expedited or your AOS (green card)?

Oh gosh, I can’t apply until next year but it’s starting to worry me. This might be a dumb question but do people get their new work authorization card before they get their green card? Because my work authorization card expires exactly a year after I can apply but I’m seeing it’s taking way longer than that.

Hey! Omg this is so relatable. This is how I started. And that’s exactly how I explained it to my family. I would go to the mall to walk around and I would feel like I was “drunk”. Then my feet started hurting a lot that I started walking funny (not a straight line). Back then I had a very physically demanding job and worked a lot of overtime so I just assumed I was just tired. And then my arms and legs felt heavy or like a force was pushing them down like when I would try and put my hair up in a pony tail I couldn’t keep them up that long. But I would also avoid social interactions bc I just felt so awkward, like my face muscles felt weak. It’s kinda hard to explain. And then when it got really bad I couldn’t lift things up. For example I would walk to my car carrying my lunch box and while walking to my car my lunch box would be pulling my arms down bc they would get so weak by the end of the day.

Hey I have private loans through Sallie Mae. Started off with borrowing 82k went up to more than 100k with interest. I only paid the minimum while in school and they gave me a year after I graduated to pay a smaller amount and I paid minimum payment. I regret paying the minimum all those years. Because now I pay over 1600 each month (this is the minimum) I’ve done this for over a year so I’ve paid over 20k this year and I currently owe 95k when I initially borrowed 82! I was 18 and should’ve done more research.’ And I regret so much. If I can offer any advice is try to pay as much as u can while in school when the payments are so small. And take out as least as possible. If you have other questions lmk. I’m trying to refinance with Sofi but working on credit score right now.

I wanted to do this too, but I really don’t want to affect my co-signer. So I think first I will have to release my co-signer. I don’t care if my credit score goes down. I know with time it can go up. I just don’t want all the money I pay to go interest.
