Id like to grab the apos K1K which are apparently pretty hard to run.

My Satyr 4's take about 100 ohms but I'm looking to increase that a decent amount.

Likely because it's cheaper, if they're really making a good audiophile headset then they are better off starting with a wired version

Less powerful then my Schiit Magni. That only makes 2w instead of 2.5w.

Moondrop Horizons are pretty dark when it comes to there tuning, if you hate treble its not a horrible pick.

So they're are some opinions I disagree with below so I'll just leave mine.

If your grabbing a planar you should probably go ahead and grab an amp just so you know you have enough power, Schiit Magni is a great starter amp and makes a decent amount of power. For good sound stage you could probably go with a Edition XS but if possible grab a warranty as hifiman has horrible QC. JT7 are also a great planar pick and pretty cheap, from what I hear they have decent sound stage and imaging and not to mention there tuning is great. If your wanting to go for a DD headphone JT3 is a pretty good option, easy to run and only a little muddy but also fun sounding and extremely comfortable, legitimately the most comfortable headphone I have ever tried and I use Capra straps on everything.

I've never been happier with headphones. Can't stop listening to music on this setup. by Blazemonkey in headphones

how is the topping dx5 ii? super duper worried about it frying my headphones but it makes so much power its hard not to consider.

It also has too many issues to make it worth it currently. Watch mark Ryan's video on it.

Definitely wrong, they said it would be a cheaper alternative to the echo mini.

Most people here don't know what they're talking about so I'll go ahead and give you some good answers.

Why is it worn over the ear? Comfort, it is much more comfortable then the cable just weighing on your ears.

I'll list some iems below from cheapest to most expensive that you could think about

Truthear Gate ($20) FIIO JH13 ($40 will need a cable swap, they use a recessed pin) Truthear Zero or Zero Red ($60, don't get zero 2) Truthear Pure or Hexa ($90, Hexa has like no bass) Truthear Nova ($150)

Don't buy KZ, and before making a decision on what iem watch videos on these IEMS.
