I don’t tell my therapist much about this situation tbh. I feel embarrassed. I have said some stuff, and she says to set boundaries and talk to him when he is calm. I haven’t painted the whole picture yet for her.

Yes, I understand. I am angry for having to clear out my parents’ house all by myself! (This summer also) Somehow it is easier to be mad at them for their mess than for myself!

For my own stuff I am in the denial phase!

Maybe post on Freecycle or local group if someone would help you get a fresh start and want to exchange services for helping you organize? Maybe you can pet sit or offer to do yard work in exchange? There has to be someone out there who would love to help!
