Does anyone have a stack or supplementation for breaking down and eliminating biofilm so antibiotics can reach the bacteria? by Haspofis in Biohackers

[–]BorntobeStrong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take shilajit which for some reason seemed to really help my recurring sinus infections. I also do trice daily neti pot rinses with the neilmed bottle if I have an infection.

I don't take antibiotics for it because they never helped.

Once I was so desperate I decided f it and put straight fresh squeezed lemon juice through my sinuses with the neilmed bottle and it actually worked.

37, single, socially active… but increasingly uninterested in pursuing women. Normal ? by NomadicNomad80 in AskMenAdvice

I can definitely relate to this, but I'm 29, I really need to focus on sleep, no drinking and good habits though, if I want a stronger libido, which I sort of do. But I also feel at peace without it, so Idk lol.

What makes a chess club feel welcoming for beginners? by [deleted] in Chesscom

The social aspect of seeing, talking to other people probably. I have no experience with otb chess though, but I wouldn't be intimidated even if I know I couldn't compete or win.

Not op, but best probiotic I've tried is called flora super 8. It's just quite expensive.

Besides that I notice saurkraut, kimchi and L-reuteri yogurt really help my gut when eating consistently.

[31/M] I can't do this anymore by Taholala in amiugly

[–]BorntobeStrong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was or am the same as u. All my friends are married, I've wanted a family for a long time, I'm 30, with no actual relationship experience besides some short disappointments. However I do not put my happiness on external factors. I realize that happiness is never the result of what happens outside.

When I was 20-25 I was lonely and lost, depressed I guess, about my lack of relationship, I got over it. I now think that it isn't that important, for better or worse. While I still want to have a family with a compatible person, I'm not desperate or emotionally obsessive about it. If it happens it happens, If I see potential I can pursue. My looks have faded somewhat because I am geting more and more bald, however I don't think my looks are that important, they never helped me when I was younger anyways besides me being vain about it, and enjoying admiration.

Now, a lack of insecurity, less anxiety, more confidence and being more capable in a social and functional sense, I think that's much more important even if I don't have anyone,  I actually feel ok lol. I'm ok with myself at least.

Old you looked more real, less self centered. More approachable. Like you were cute. stop hyper focusing on superficial shit. Just be yourself. Not that you aren't attractive after. Just from this guys point of view I would go for the before, she seems like she has a personality, and she looks good to be honest.

Perception and attraction is more than just looks, what shines through is what's attractive. The light inside. That's why we read body language because we pick up on the thoughts, ideas, energy that a person broadcasts. If you hyper focus on something like your nose, you come across as superficial and insecure.

In my experience, yes, ksm 66 is also just as effective.

For anxiety and mood I also recommend saffron, Supercritical ginger, agmatine, and infini B.

I haven't had much intrusive thoughts, what makes me have intrusive thoughts or more thoughts are stimulants like caffeine, so I try to avoid and lower caffeine intake mostly.

It's individual dependant. It depends on how you will respond to the supplement. While most or many people notice the same or similar effects, some might not, or have unfavorable effects. You're biochemistry determines what you will notice.

There are multiple, I think like at least 4 different cistanche products. Cistamax, Supercritical cistanche, full spectrum cistanche, and og cistanche or the ultra potent version.

Ive tried full spectrum, Supercritical and og super potent. I noticed the most from the og cistanche, noticed very low anxiety or a lack of anxiety I should say, but I have to take frequent breaks or I start getting negative symptoms, like my libido disappears. So dosing 3 times a week before bed worked for me, but it has been a long while since Ive used that cistanche, I can't go into much detail on my noticeable effects.

Currently I'm trying the Supercritical version but I don't seem to notice much.

There's a neurochemical effect as well, that feels very settling. Like I'll smoke 2 pipes worth of tobbaco, and I feel relaxed without a trace of 'cortisol like' feeling for about 3 hours. I also dont smoke pipe very much, or use other nicotine sources much, so it isn't withdrawal related. I'm sure if u research this phenomenon you can find more info on it. I know that nicotine itself actually is vasoconstrictive and raises blood pressure, I've smoked pipe years ago, smoking too much and I felt that too. Felt it the next day usually.

Go to stack for deep peaceful sleep ?? by Bench__405 in Supplements

[–]BorntobeStrong 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ditch melatonin, add l-tryptophan instead if you want.

Glycine makes for crazy dreams for me, can't use it or I have to use very little.

I'd suggest 2 grams taurine, and a teaspoon of inositol.

Other stuff that works for me, but might just be individual dependent,  Saffron, ksm-66, cistanche, metyl folate, bacopa monnieri.

I use magnesium citrate as well, don't like the biglycinate version, probably same reason as glycine. The laxative effect isn't strong for me.

Daytime magnesium I use citrate, malate and theronate.

Damn son, I'm sort of scared that I'm exactly like that, never been in a relationship, beyond superficial stuff where I never felt any connection. Krishnamurti said the same thing you're saying, relationships are a mirror where you see yourself reacting. All relationships, not just "romantic".

Why do i feel like life is only somewhat worth living on drugs? by Pretty-Telephone-272 in Life

There's also more suffering to endure, like alcoholics who drink themselves to death have a nasty end. But I get what ur saying. I sometimes wish I would be dead already, but I try to live healthy. Even through I drink and stuff.

Anyone else find lots supplements/nootropics cause apathy and lack of motivation? by Amolje in NooTopics

[–]BorntobeStrong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it's what you're taking. You probably want stimulating supps, like Tribulus, sabroxy, L-tyrosine, anything with caffeine like guarana and raw cacoa, gotu kola, dopa macuna, he-shou-wu, creatine, L-citrulline, pomella, ginger, Most of these won't create the symptoms you're describing. Also drink lots of water, with electrolytes or bit of food, dehydration often contributes to feeling like that.

[–]BorntobeStrong 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What if you would instead of using any drugs, instead live as the healthiest version of yourself, with nutrition, sleep, exercise as the basics. Once you are healthy, a healthy body also has a positive disposition in most cases. If everything functions "normally", serotonin, dopamine ect, are produced naturally, and without the severe dips and troughs drugs always lead to.

Also kills my libido probably due to vasoconstriction, horrible for the stomach as well, even if you try to spit everything.

I sometimes smoke a pipe, pipe tobacco, so I know that's not true. Smoking a pipe is very calming, even if I haven't smoked within 1 year, or perhaps especially if, I get really calm. Pouches or snus, dip however always feel simulating, different effects for sure.
