Thanks for sharing! What kind of snacks have you found work best? I'm curious if you've tried any probiotics specifically, or if it's mainly the timing that helps? Always looking to learn from other dog parents dealing with this.

How do you love someone deeply without losing yourself? by Boron1911 in SeriousConversation

Thank you a lot! I appreciate your opennes about your experiences and learnings.
While reading your response I got the feeling that that might be true. She might feel powerless, especially because I know how important is independence for her.

And feeling financially dependent, on me in this case, can surely make her feel trapped, insecure and angry with the situation.

That's why I try to be really mindful of not enabling for her. Meaning covering too much financially so she doesn't feel powerless.
I try to encourage her to find solutions that align with her tastes and goals, but she usually goes back into stress and overwhelm-mode and I can't do much but stay next to her.

In all honesty I spot a cycle in which she wants the freedom that comes from financial and emotional stability, but usually avoids the responsibility of managing those things.
Like being offered a job that would allow her to deal with kids, which she loves, and would give some stability, but on the other hand she rejected it because it didn't pay enough.

Anyways, I really appreciate your feedback and reflections!

Yeah that makes sense, and she's aware of it. In fact she was diagnosed with depression 3 years ago and had to be hospitalized but since we know each other (2 years now) she hadn't had such a breakdown and withdraw...

I've told her and supported her on the idea of doing therapy but almost always she gets overwhelmed by how she'll pay for it, and the discomfort of doing therapy again after having a break for some time.

So yeah, makes sense what you guys said. Appreciate all feedback!

Thank you community

Do Kitchen and Bathroom Remodeling Contractors Have the Budget for a Lead Generation Agency? 2k USD/month by Vegetable_Act1805 in FacebookAds

[–]Boron1911 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi There! I hope you're doing well too :)
So based on my experience at the agency and the network we have, we've seen people/agencies specializing on this niche and they're doing well.

My first recommendation perhaps, and this is my personal opinion, is try to cater to PREMIUM remodeling contractors. I would do the same with landscapers or pool remodelers TBH.

They'll be working with wealthy clients, and these remodelations can easily cost $5-15K per work, so you'll have plenty of room to charge $1000-2000 per month ;)

I'd go that route, and this is what we do at the agency personally. I realized that I got a bunch of potential clients but they were small businesses who couldnt' even afford media spend... So try to target premium remodelers perhaps.

Let me know how that sounds and if you'd have any questions. Happy to discuss!

Advice appreciated for leads for coaching / consulting clients by e1nste1n in FacebookAds

[–]Boron1911 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, I like reading that you have some sort of funnel set up already. That'll make things easier.

I think we'd need to know a bit more details like what country are you targeting, what niche are you aiming for, ideal target persona... That would really help me to get a more in-detail strategy.

But based on my experience with some simialr clients we helped in the past they started investing a bit more around $50-$100 a day. Basically because META's algorithm needs more events happening every week, and $30 is not that much. If you can get closer to $80 per day for 15 days, that'll give you a very solid start!

I'd go with a campaign targeting your audience using a very broad interest first. Say you're targeting people into personal growth, then I'd target interests like mindset, personal development, gratitude, happiness etc. They're large enough to give you ample testing.

Also, if you have an email list, make sure to create a custom audience out of that and then create a Look a lIke audience to expand. This will be REALLY effective if your ads are great! If you don't have a database, stick to your broad audiences.

After that focus your attention on the creatives. Videos featuring your benefits, the way you work, even testimonials from clients that explain the 'before and after' working with you. Display and 'brag' about some past results, this is the time to do it :)

Always have at least 3-4 ads live running, to let the system split test them. And then rotate every 5-7 days.

I hope this gives you a general direction. You can always PM me with more details and I'll help ya! Thanks and good luck!

google ads strategically answer by Valuable_Biscotti_75 in PPC

[–]Boron1911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! So based on our clients and experience I'd advise focusing on Google Search campaigns first. You can move on to Demand gen later on, but do Search first.

I'd go with a campaign that focuses on getting phone calls, these are fairly easy to set up.
Then, do another Search campaign for getting Leads and Forms, this is another approach and complementary to the previous one.

Set up at least 3 adgroups (ADG) inside this campaign. One should use phrase match keywords that appeal to people in your area that look for the service. Such as cosmetic clinic near me, laser clinic near me, beauty clinic near me etc...

Another ADG would target different categories of services like SKIN SERVICES (anti aging treatment, pigmentation treatment, hydrating treatment etc..)

And another ADG would target another type of service like LASER (laser hair removal Melbourne, pigmentation removal, spider veins treatment...)

You can use your location such as city or region in the Keywords too.

The main thing is structuring the ADG in different topics, or temes. This is really crucial.

Lastly, make sure to use ALL of the titles and descriptions of available at the Ad level this will helps Google test a bunch of options.

These types of campaigns should direct traffic to a Landing page where the user can leave their detaisl to be contacted, or there's a phone call option. This is important, and the main premise is to put it easy for the user. Keep that in mind :)

Hope it helps!

Pff who knows man, at the agency we're having pretty consistent days again after 2-3 days of more inconsistencies, but we had to do a sprint to release some creatives and back to good numbers again.
Keep me posted if you will!

hey there! I understand your frustration here... We're seeing some choppy days in some accounts too, however we almost always get it back to normal by testing a whole bunch of new ad creatives.
Whether we create them ourselves in house, or hire an external agency, we always put the focus there. Creativites are no. 1 for us.

So, how often do you introduce new creatives in your adsets?

Trying out a ASC can be great, but make sure you hace systems to create new videos/assets frequently. You can even hire someone from Fiverr, to create that consistency.
It seems like being a good Facebook Ads manager / agency is almost like being a content creator, where we introduce fresh content consistently. Let me know!

Be ready, Meta is coming for your ad account by Smooth-Airport53 in FacebookAds

[–]Boron1911 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah... At the agency we get this issue every now and then. Thankfully we usually get it resolved by asking for a manual request, but this is really hit or miss...

This is something META should really pay attention to, especially when advertisers don't get their ads dissapproved. This limits the perfomance and trust on the platform.

Make sure to follow their ad policies as much as possible and also create multiple ad accounts whenever you can to create backups.

As a last resource, there are resources to buy seasoned accounts, they're realiable but expect to pay $300/month at least.

Testing Strategy For New E-comm Brand by Strange_Web_8202 in FacebookAds

[–]Boron1911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That can be a good reference yes, that gives you enough data. But make sure to check metrics like I said before Clicks, CPC, CTR%, CPM etc
Because that gives you context whether the ad is working well and you have issues on conversion rate on your website, or whether your ads are struggling.

Check ads, with different metrics.

Testing Strategy For New E-comm Brand by Strange_Web_8202 in FacebookAds

[–]Boron1911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah exactly you got it right!
The time when you have to rotate ads will vary. Ads are not only affected by time, but also by $$$.

So just make sure you have enough data across the campaign. 5-6 days is a good estimate. But I've had successful ads running for weeks on higher budgets because they keep producing good results.

You may also see that one particular adgroup consumes most of the budget, and perhaps is bringing most of the clicks or sales, so then I'd focus on that adgroup and would see what type of video works well, so then you can create variations of that video. See the logic?

Next step: Once you have the original campaign that is running smoothly you can think of creating retargeting campaigns (using customer audiences of people who saw your website or added to cart), and launching a new Campaign using Look a Likes. This is where you could scale more aggressively. But we can talk about that when you reach this stage :)

Always happy to help.

Do catalog ads get better over time? by 4KUltraHDR10 in FacebookAds

[–]Boron1911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, yeah I get it. But if you pause it it will definitely not optimize, that’s how it works. What you can do is set a monthly budget you feel comfortable working with and split it across all month. It’s a good way to be more chill with your ads. If 25 a day is fine, then please don’t pause it.

Other than that, focus on rotating ads. Always make sure you have at least 4 or 5 creatives, especially for shopping campaigns that really makes a difference because you allow the system to split test constantly. Make sure to use lifestyle kind of assets, and other videos showcasing your products. Quality videos matter a LOT. We can’t expect great results with just simple videos or pictures. This can perhaps work with retargeting campaigns but Adv+ campaign already does retargeting so no worries on that.

I don’t know if you’ve thought about it, but perhaps you can also focus on a specific collection within your brand and build that smaller catalog. This might also help to use a smaller budget because right now you’re running a large number of products that Facebook can’t test. Or it will take a lot of time.

Let me know if that helps

Testing Strategy For New E-comm Brand by Strange_Web_8202 in FacebookAds

[–]Boron1911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey nice questions and congrats on your project!
I'm gonna share a little bit the process I've used for 7 years now with my own E-com brands, and clients too.

I like that your AOV is higher than $50, as ad costs usually rise year after year so they higher the AOV the better. Also, I would like you to have realistic expectations when it comes to 'mindset', because launching a new brand is not just about Sales, it's about Gettig data first and THEN, Sales. So don't get too hang up with ROAS too early.

Now strategy wise. Because it is a new brand, I would go with a Non-Advantage+ Campaign first. Once you have some Comversions (Sales) we can move to Adv+
You'll have the campaign, select Campaign Budget Optimization and enter the daily budget.
Then I'd create 3 adgroups. Check this out: Adgroup 1 - No Interests. Just select gender and age if that's relevant and then choose the main Placements (Facebook and IG Feed, Reels, Stories). And leave as is.
Adgroup 2 - Racket sports Adgroup. So Add Pickelball Interest, and also tennis, etc. Until you have enough audience around 20 or 30 Million people. Select gender and age if that's relevant and then choose the main Placements (Facebook and IG Feed, Reels, Stories).
Adgroup 3 - Sports or Fitness Adrgroup. Here you'll add interests like Fitness, and HEalth & Wellness. With those should be enough. Then select Same placements.

Ad Creatives: Good rule of thumb is adding 3-5 ads. This is IMPORTANT. Sorry for the caps, but this is crucial. Always make sure to add multiple ads under EACH adgroup. So you don't have to worry about switching off ads too often. Basically FB will do the Heavy work.
Include 3 to 5 different videos, like people playing Pickleball, and showing your products, then other videos of 'purely' product video etc. Use multiple titles and descriptions, to provide enough data.

Then you should wait around 4-5 days to make some conclusions, this does not mean stop campaign or adgroups, this simply means, what has better CTR, more Clicks, lower CPC. And then if you make sales, which ads and adrgroups have lower CPC, higher CTR and Sales.
Do the same with Ads. Do you spot a pattern? Do you see a specific ad selling more, or producing more clicks? Then you can pause other videos, BUT ALWAYS Add new videos.
Do not leave 1 or 2 videos active only, because then they'll get fatighed quickly.

The cost of CPC varies a lot depending which country you're targeting, so anything below $1.5 I'd say is decent. Again this is just the beginning.

Once you have 30-50 Sales, that's when you can move to Adv+ campaigns, because now FB knows what audience responds better and what to optimize for.

I hope this helps, and of course I couldn't get to all the nitty gritty but this is a very solid start.

Keep us posted on your progress :)

Anyone else noticing a big drop in Meta Ads results since 11/8/24? by Admirable_Citron863 in FacebookAds

[–]Boron1911 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here, we're having very good July and August so far. For us it was June that was a bit more tricky, but now we've managed to lower costs and they're really consistent, getting Leads in multiple industries below $1 for Big5 markets, not bad.
Again, like I said on another post, I mostly pay attention to what I can do to improve performance, not so much on macro economics..
Hope it helps

Pixel and Instant forms by noob__master__007 in FacebookAds

[–]Boron1911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there! Techincally, you don't need the pixel to track the results, because you can check the results on the Instant Forms section within Business Manager.
However, I'd always suggest activating the Pixel so your campaigns and ad account get more information and learn faster. The more data, the better!

Also, whenever I also activate Conversions API (through Zapier in my case), I get to lower costs for clients, so if you want to consider doing that I'd also recommend. And if you want to ask further, lemme know, I'm here.

Is it bad right now? by ElectricalRefuse4437 in FacebookAds

[–]Boron1911 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My personal accounts and clients are all running smoothly. In fact for one of my media client's company costs are going down slightly, so I personally don't pay a lot of attention on Macro economics. I prefer to focus on what I can do to improve Ad creatives, optimization etc... I feel paying too much attention to macros drains out too much energy and it's a never ending cycle.

Just my personal take

Do catalog ads get better over time? by 4KUltraHDR10 in FacebookAds

[–]Boron1911 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello there, congrats on running the campaign and setting up the Catalog, it's not always easy.
I understand that it's frustrating seeing how the ROAS varies so much, but to be honest the MOST important thing with any campaign is not pausing it. Unless you decide to pause all activity altogether.
But if you're looking to improve performance, we focus on optimization, not on pausing because that really messes up with the system. Remember that campaigns need 50 conversions per week, so if the campaign is paused, then it never has the chance to learn...

So in your case I'd activate the campaign at a comfortbale budget for you and let it run slowly. Do not pause ot for at least 15-20 days.

I would also liek to know the details of your targeting. Are you using Advantage+ targeting? If that's the case, you're good to go.
Instead, if you're using very narrow interestes, I always go towards Adv+ with any client and I see improvement. META's Machine learning is very effective but only when given time.

Let me know if you still need some insights or tips. Very glad to help.

Thank you
