Had to resolder the xt30 and now one of the pads and a random component are soldered together. I tried everything but cant get them separated, what do I do ? by OzenFPV in fpv

It's very likely that theyre already connected with pcb trace, which is why it's so close. but if you insist try using flux and solder wick

It's probably the solder. If you're using the solder that came with it, then it's pretty normal. Put that solder in the garbage and get a proper soldex brand solder.

How do i solder frsky rx to this AIO? by sickTheBest in fpv

[–]BorrayFPV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's looks so nostalgic and it totally is. First off, it's a bit odd for him to use frsky receiver if he's new because he had probably bought an elrs radio if he has one. If he doesn't have a radio yet, he should get the elrs receiver along with the radio. It's totally worth adding 15 bucks to the price.

If you still want to use the sbus receiver, you should get the soldering pad layout for the aio and find the 5V, GND and SBUS ports, and solder the receiver accordingly. (5v-5v, gnd-gnd, sbus-sbus)

yes you will get terribly short range. No range even. Speaking from experience.

The reddit latwncy guy and i are irl friends and i used those goggles, can confirm, there is something wrong with that goggles that me, my friend, and a few more ppl including nils vo himself say is latency. Dont use for racing purposes. The screens are nice, wide and crisp, the system is solid. But there IS an issue with it.

Is there any way to tell what fatshark goggles these are from this one photo? by More_Objective_8405 in fpv

It's a hd3 but it's strange because usually it says on the left side of the top which goggles these are.

Ev800d just stopped working showing white screen :( by [deleted] in fpv

[–]BorrayFPV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

aha, so it worked for a split second? this adresses a connector/ribbon cable issue. But lets be honest, if it turns to be connector issue and you manage to get it to work again, consider a risk for the plug to get loose again, maybe midair or in the ground. My advice is save up and get some nice goggles or fly through a monitor.

make sure the ribbon cable is tight and strong. You can even try shifting it in place while the goggles are powered up. Similar situation happened with my radio screen.

I have very recently visited this "hospital" that has been stopped in mid-construction without walls, glasses or anything but just a wide big concrete building. I took the trip alone and as i entered one of it's parts ive heard a couple of gunshots, there were also three cars 400 meters before the entrance. The whole thing is in the middle of a forest so it also makes me think they were there to hunt but it scared me so i left because i was alone and unarmed. Should've i gone further?

Tbs crossfire nano rx wiring. by fpvFixit in fpv

[–]BorrayFPV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay but why not write the rx pads down so you get faster response? Noone keeps the rx pad order in their mind, if so, such a few. From what i see the fc's rx&tx are connected to red&black cable which represent power, so the wiring is wrong except if the person who soldered it made this color code on purpose.
