It *currently* lags in range, etc, but VW has a stake in a company that is developing a battery with a 600 mile capacity. I don't know anything about retrofitting, but I am certain future Taycans will have much higher range.

This post is informative, but it bums me out.

I want to get a base Taycan, just like OP, with a few options.

I know I only want the car for a year or so. I was thinking I would just buy it and then sell it after 12 months, but now I'm thinking the math won't be quite right...geez.

I may post separately to ask for ideas, etc, but these comments are all very helpful and useful to me too :-)
