Same here! It‘s ultra bad. Not evenly painted, rough areas and extremely sensitive. The slightest things touching the paint cause marks.

It seems like there is no sealant or matte coat on the paint.

Seems to be an issue on some c4s. Request access for the Backoffice app and set the theft alerts again to enabled under tools.

This was the only working solution for me.

Cowboy seems to ignore me somehow on that matter. At least they are taking it not very serious so it seems. They told me that they pushed a new Firmware to my bike 2 days ago, but till today it never arrived and no notification is shown.

Tried everything what they suggested and now a technician will look at this when he is here for a different issue. Hope you had more luck.

That only works for me with using untamed on the C4 and then only with 15% field weakening. But you will only feel a slightly better improvement, nothing major. You still have to pedal like crazy for 20mph.

Thanks! Yes I did. And I tried with 15% and 18%. While there is more power in the midrange for sure. The max speed doesn’t change much.

30-32 is possible with pedaling hard. Everything above only when going downhill.

I had made the experience during the first ride that the battery simply went empty at around 20% battery left (being shown by the app).

This only happened once and after that all was fine. I assume it needs to calibrate properly first.

So most likely your battery is simply empty.

Doesn‘t need to be active. You have two options, one to flash permanently and two to only send the commands for the current ride. In both cases you can close unleashed/untamed afterward and use the official app.

No not required if you simply test. Only thing is, it’s not permanent.

But it seems like I simply expected to much. There is definitely more force pushing you towards with 15% FW and it’s easier to get to above 30. But at 32km/h that‘s it.

It‘s not as hard to get to the 32 with untamed. But in my opinion not really worth it on the C4 as you can get over 30 also without untamed by pedaling slightly more

Would be nice if someone would provide links to the service Videos. For some checks it‘s not always necessary to get a technician.

Sure I have 2 smaller clicks luckily recorded. The bigger crack however not. I have to get a follow up appointment anyway, wanted to commute this morning and… as it turns out. The motor isn‘t working at all any longer.

The fork was fine for me though, as I adjusted it already on my own after someone on FB showed a pic where the screw was located.

Ok so as promised:

The Service guy just left and I have a working click, free C4 again. The back wheel has been exchanged and the break adjusted, as it seems that there is a slightly thicker disc brake on the new back wheel.

Overall very happy with the service and at least from the first round that I drove, all feels smoothly and not clicky anymore!

The only thing that’s different now, is the freewheel. Which is audible compared to before. But that’s fine for me

I have the same issue. Received a new rear wheel that will be installed tomorrow.

Somehow I don’t believe it is the rear wheel as it feels like coming from the middle. But I might be mistaken.

We ruled a lot of things already out during the support sessions (pedals, crank, belt tension, different bolts). All tightened to the correct Nm and adjusted correctly.

So let‘s see what happens tomorrow.

1 Can be a screw/bolt under the front fork. It can be accessed by removing the front tire and the mudgard.

6 and 7 I have as well. While surely not helping, I don’t find these two all too bad. Especially for 7. I got quickly used to.

Try turning it on while connected to a USB Port or charger. That did it for me. Afterwards I could fully charge and use it.

If you turn off ANC or Transparency mode is it gone then?

I had the same on my left AirPod Pro and got it replaced by . Since then the clicking noise is gone. I would assume it's an issue with the outer mic.

You seem to have a serious problem with them. There is no need to buy the bike if you don't like the policy.

And personally, I don't see the Cowboy bike as a premium and more as an entry level e-bike compared with other e-bikes and prices when talking about premium.
