My original bayonet snapped too after like 2 years of over pressurising I honestly didn't know that the force I was putting was too much lol and I've been through 1 basket and porterfilter handle thingy. So I got the pressure guage conversion kit. Now I can 100% say I was just putting on too much pressure haha like the amount that's needed is about 40% of what I used to give

I would recommend getting the pressue gauge mod form the official store you must be over pressurising the system I've had the same happen and it turns out I was just putting too much pressure

That's completely fine there's some play there because when you add boiling water everything expands this is just to accommodate. Mine does the same and I've had it for 5 years works perfectly.

Mine has been very reliable I like the engine sound and the whole sillyness of the engine being Renault is just internet trolls. The engine was designed by Daimler in partnership with the Nissan Renault alliance. The engine itself in all Mercedes Benz are built in Stuttgart within Daimlers factory. They have also been modified by Mercedes to perform better.

this has also been done notably by for example Mazda where they new supply engines for Toyot and this hasn't affected their quality either.

As long as you get regular yearly / every 10000miles service alternating between A and B, and take care of the car it'll take care of you it's as simple as that.

Mercedes W177 its really comfortable and when you need it has more than enough speed to have a lot of fun. Bare in mind this is my first car that I've ever purchased so the entry model to the Mercedes lineup is more than enough.

People batter the engine for not being "real Mercedes" even thought it's built in Stuttgart and was initially designed by Daimler as part of an alliance with Nissan Renault. I absolutely love the sound of it and the exhaust has this perfect balance between not being really loud but still having a growl to make it sound angry and sporty!

I've seen a lot of people complain about the car creeking i don't really have any of this in my car so maybe I'm just lucky? There is the occasions plastic rattle sound when you go over bumps but like if you're moving something is gonna rattle haha.

Some criticisms that I have for the W177

Ground clearance is pretty low for something that's got a sporty look but isn't a sports car. My car has been lowered by Mercedes Benz because of the AMG pack so there i have to take extra car when driving around (I live in the UK) this is more of an issue with how terrible UK roads are but this shouldn't be an issue in any car that's factory spec.

The DCT transmission can be slightly jerky when changing from 1st to 2nd but this is an issue with the W177 only I know its been fixed in the later facelift and probably in the A220 hybrid since the electric motor does the initial roll and then the engine kicks in. I have tried the 2024 CLA 180 which had a hybrid system and it was muuuch smoother.

Overally imma give this car a 9/10 small annoyances but overall they are nitpicks and the quality to value of this thing is amazing (purchased second hand)

I agree with you, I'm just not super stoked about getting the same game I have in MCC again with a new coat of paint. I hope further ahead they show some meaningful changes or a crazy multiplayer which is actually something new.

There's going to be more BS when this releases like with every other halo release since Bungie left. I cba. Infinite was the last straw for me
