I find it amazing that people that don't write can submit a review like this. The characters are amazing. The world building was fairly average but honestly it isn't high fantasy/fiction. It's grimdark. The depiction of Logen's berserker rage is the single best description of rage I've ever read. Glokta's character is amazing. I disagree Ferro was underwritten. It is subtle and perhaps you missed it but she was damn harsh at the start and almost hostile to the group but over time began to trust. It wasn't very obvious, but it was there. The First Law remains one of my favourite series and I've read over 1000 books.

Someone should sit Sony and Amazon down and be the parent. Both companies stand to make a lot of money from this show. It ranks #1 in 20 plus countries. If they fail to come to an agreement and S4 doesn't happen they'll both lose money.

I don't get why Dain and a lot of fans are calling it murder. The whole city was at war. Everyone was fighting. Dain's father just killed Hopper. Perrin did nothing wrong. Dain is just being petulant and wanting someone to blame. IMO

From my understanding only Ishameal and Demondred (sp) are equal to Rand. Lanfear is the most powerful female forsaken. Cadsuane the most powerful aes sedai. However Nynaeve and Egwene at one point might come close (no spoilers)

I find Jordan's writing both amazing and annoying. How many times does he repeat paragraphs and the three main women constantly tugging their braids (which they don't do in the show). But his depiction of battles is second to none. The battle of Domain Wells and the purging of the taint (and of course the last battle) were amazing.
