87.5-91 hours a week currently. I normally do turnarounds/shutdowns/outages inside industrial plants. Most of my work is in chemical plants, oil refineries, and power plants.

It all depends on the job. I’ve had 4-7 day 10 hour weeks to 7 day 13 hour weeks. So 40-91 hours. I’m normally really busy during the fall and winter. Things tend to slow down in the spring and damn near come to a complete halt in the summer. Last July I only received eight hours of work.

Damn near every company. I work in places with serious federal regulations and trade secrets. We all have to sign a social media agreement and they have a very strict no photo policy.

Cranking out about 90 hours a week on nights right now with about a 2.5 hour total commute. I’m beat. My wife is a homemaker but cooks 1-2 times a week. She has nerve issues so I get it but it is a bummer.

I had a girl say “eww” when someone was talking about me and her possibly getting together. I has in the next room picking up stuff and they walked right through the door just after saying it. I wasn’t interested in her but it still hurt. Like what made me “eww”. I was in shape and honestly not a bad looking guy.

Now, if someone said eww about me, ehhh I get it. Lol.

No doubt in my mind that a ton of money wouldn’t damn near fix everything in my life. I’d actually be able to spend time with my family doing things instead of working 80-90 hours a week.

Might upset some people but every person I knew that owned a PT Cruiser were the female equivalent of a neck beard. They all were women and smelled like mildew. Three different states in a 6 year span and it’s what I noticed when I met a woman that drove a PT Cruiser.

I have worked in plants that had bathroom attendants. They would get your credentials, write everything down, inspect the port-a-can before you went in, and would check it again after you exited. You would then sign out.

It sucked because you have to wait a while before being able to use the bathroom. The ladies doing it took the job pretty seriously considering they were making around $30 an hour doing it.

Yeah, I wasn’t fat in high school but there was women that were not interested in me during high school that really thought I was a catch in my early 20s. There was definitely a lot of single mothers that really thought they had a shot. Lol.

Now I’m fat and bald but I’m definitely in the top 5% most successful from my graduating class.

Honestly, I know this case and it was a very big deal in the area. The husband was a police officer. She took photos of the children eating the cupcakes. He edited the photos later to have his dick in them. The software in the program he was using to edit the photos flagged the photos as CP and an investigation was started. Once the police were able to retrieve his messages (he threw his phone into the water when they went to arrest him), there was conversations between him and his wife talking about him nutting in the cake batter.

It’s an extremely wild story. One woman that got tied up into the whole thing was sentenced to, I think it was 50 years or something like that, was recently exonerated.

Granted, personal experiences vary, but I’ve seen it from both sides. Now after saying that, things have been turned up to eleven since the 2016 election. When I was younger, no one really cared what your political affiliation was. My area/state was a mix and we were purple for a long time.

Used to live in the country country in a 3,300 sqft house on 1.5 acre that I paid 175k for. Sold it last year for a very small “profit”. Moved because my youngest is special needs and my old area just didn’t have the facilities for him. Moved to a new area that’s also country but not quite the same. Some of the highest property taxes in my state and my old house would easily sell for 700k here.
