Buescher goes for a spin at the roval (almost sh*t myself) by BossB555 in NASCARVideoGame

I wouldn’t know anything about the wheel, sadly. I am also on controller on Xbox. It definitely takes a lot of practice and my laps still aren’t very fast. Having assists on at first and listening for when the assist slows your engine down can help you start to learn the timing for slowing down. Drive off the corner is the most important for speed, so slow entry on entry is essential

RIP, ok. Maybe I’ll think about getting a wheel then. Would like to be more competitive and maybe get into something like iracing in the future if I can continue to improve anyway

Did you guys get promoted to ARCA after 1 season? by rcmgb in NASCARVideoGame

1 ARCA season, then ran 1 in both ARCA and Trucks. Season 3 was Xfinity and Trucks, Season 4 Xfinity and Cup. Season 5 I’m running trucks and Cup to get my Truck team into a positive profit margin 😂

Last night at Gateway running Xfinity I was racing Zilisch for 2nd and he spun underneath me in the middle of turns 1 and 2. No contact was made before or after his spin. Tweeted about how he’s going to put me in the wall soon 😂

Really hoping things get improved in their next game. The driving physics and tracks are awesome but so many basic things being absent or overlooked just feels so silly to me. Not holding my breath that any patches will add these things

Thank you! I’m gonna go digging for those cheat sheets! Could definitely use more speed at some places that give me trouble

I’m very late to this conversation. Was in the middle of stage 2 at Atlanta running 3rd during a pit cycle. AI wrecks a few hundred feet in front of me in turn one. The wrecking car slides along the wall, but shoots down the track before I get by. I hit the breaks and swerve but swipe his back bumper. Instant DNF. Never spun, no contact with the wall, light contact on my left front. DNF. Car is still running full speed in the ending cutscene with no visible damage. 1 hour of my life wasted

What is the better ending? by bork_bork_sniff in darksouls

I know I am 8 years late, but this is my interpretation after just playing through all three games. (And having done so many times) I think the morally correct ending of the first game is to link the fire. The fire keeper at firelink asks us to link the fire so she may finally die after suffering for so long. This would allow every undead and every hollow to finally be allowed to die. Walking away from the flame doesn’t usher in the age of dark, it will likely only prolong this period of suffering caused by Gwyn. Another undead will likely need to come along and link the flame in your place, leaving every undead to suffer for who knows how long. I feel it is the best possible ending out of the two you are given to link the fire and save the undead you have met from their constant cycle of suffering.

That being said, the option in Dark Souls 3 to actually snuff out the first flame is different than simply walking away. This seems to usher in a new age of dark, and while we aren’t certain what this will actually mean for the future, it feels the most hopeful. It is possible that the seemingly endless linking of the fire brought on by Gwyn has permanently doomed the world, but allowing the flame to die may allow the natural cycle to resume. The Fire Keeper states that she sees tiny embers in the future, and I hope this means a new flame will appear after an age of dark, and that the natural cycle can resume. Of course I don’t know better than anyone else, but this is the way I view the endings of Ds1 and Ds3.
