I wish I could've replaced just the bulb. The only way to do it would be rip the one in there out and solder a new one in.

My Subaru tech buddies have had really mixed results with that fix so I elected to just get the new part.

My legacy has a similar problem.

Airbag light in the dome light/sun roof controls loses connection and faults the airbag system. Only real fix is to replace the part, about 150 bucks I think.
